Fireworks flew in the air off the stage from their mechanisms as my show concluded. I trotted out in the middle of the stage to address the crowd one last time. It was going to be my last show in the United States and I was going out with a bang. My multi colored makeup boldly contrasted with my seashell bra and garden panty. My natural (well, non-colored) hair flowed in the wind since the show took place outdoors.
"You all know I couldn't be standing out here in front of you today without your support and inspiration. GIVE YOURSELVES A HUGE ROUND OF APPLAUSE! DRIVE SAFE AND GOOD NIGHT NEW YORK!"
I walked backstage where my makeup artist waited to take my stage makeup off while the crew took down equipment and load it up for the haul to the next show. Once she removed the stage makeup, I dismissed her with a good night and applied my own layer of everyday makeup. A little foundation, concealer, eyeliner (bold, of course), a smidge of eye shadow for color, and mascara. Once that was finished, I announced my leave with a good night to the rest of the crew, my manager, and my stylists.
I exited through the backdoors and stood on the sidewalk alongside the curb. I lit up a cigarette in the cool weather, heating my insides. I hastily put it out as my phone buzzed, signifying I had received a message.
Need a lift?!

I chuckled as a black limousine pulled in front of me. She was always on time. I was greeted by a head of curly blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and a bright smile.
"Well, do ya, tootse?" the blonde bobbed her head in question.
"Maria, Maria. On time as usual. I knew it was you."
"Who else would it be? Surely not him." Maria stressed the last word as I hopped in the limo.
"Of course not"
"Good, you know I have a few relatives with connections, if ya like I could pull a few strings to pull a few bones out of place."
"Its fine, you worry too much" I said as I checked my makeup in my compact mirror. "I forgot one thing"
"What's that, you look absolutely stunning to me" she winked at me with those blue beauties.
"Well, unfortunately I'll have to agree with you I do look absolutely stunning even without this gunk on my face, but if I'm wearing it I want to wear it right." I took out my lipstick and smeared the red onto my lips.
"Perfect"
"Here, let me try" Maria pleaded as she closed the distance between us and planted a kiss on my freshly colored lips. After a few seconds she pulled away, looking at my face up and down.
"Definitely perfect"
"Damn, I've missed you" I said craving more. I leaned in for another electrifying kiss from the perky blonde until the limo driver, Tom cleared his throat.
"Where to ladies?"
"Yes where are we headed to tonight?" Maria glared at Tom and then looked at me, stroking the side of my face with the back of my hand.
I could have killed Tom for his remark, but I remembered I had everything planned out for the week. I was leaving at the end of this week for London to preform another show, so I was going to make our week the best we had in a long time. With both of us in show business, its difficult getting time together without paparazzi following us everywhere.
