SPN100 Challenge WoW : Rainbow
Word Count : 245 (Noticing most folk relaxing the 100 word rule, so felt ok about going over)

Decided for the Hell of it to pre-write the
drabble, and add in the WoW when it arrived.
Original wording "..soft towel"became "...soft, rainbow coloured towel"
Theme influenced by my own current "snotty nose" situation :7(

Dean stood in the bunker's main bathroom, bent over and holding onto either side of the full wash basin. His face was completely submerged, only leaving his ears and the back of his head free of the cold water. Drawing level with the open bathroom door, Sam ground to a bewildered halt at the sight before him.
"Dean?"
The breath he was holding escaped, a stream of bubbles rising to the water's surface, blowing raspberries at Sam, but Dean remained underwater.
"Dean?...Dean!"
In two strides Sam was at his brother's side, hauling him upright out of the water. Wrapping one arm tightly around the older Hunter's upper arms and chest, he held onto Dean. Grabbing a soft, rainbow coloured towel with his free hand, Sam determinedly patted his brother's face dry. Gasping for air, Dean struggled against Sam's fluffy torture towel.
"Stop wriggling Dean!...WhattheHellwereyoudoin'youjackass?"
"Experimentin'...Now get the fluff off me!"
Still clasping Dean tightly to his chest, Sam stared at his brother's profile.
"Experimenting?...Wha' the...?"
"The doc you dragged me to with my snotty nose, sore throat an' earache? He said ev'rybody's ears, nose and throat are linked up. It got me thinkin', then I had to test somethin' out."
"Like what?"
"Like, if they're connected, shouldn't I be able to breath through my ears?"
A pregnant pause...Then, dropping the towel, Sam exited the bathroom. Poking his head out the bathroom, Dean called after his disappearing brother.
"Sammy? Don't you wanna know if it worked?"
