"Dude you're so gay!" Robert laughed at Zack as he erupted with his contagious laughter. "Wow, thanks man." Replied Zack with a chuckle. It was a 'regular' lunchtime with the group, regular for them, but for others it was a crazy ride. Robert smiled as he listened in on the crazy bull that his four friends would say. They were only a month into the school year but he could tell this year was going to be pretty great.
Eighth grade had started off pretty boringly, and Robert hadn't even seen his good friend Colton yet. It was fifth hour and it was almost time for lunch. As Mrs. Olsen wrapped up her science class, the bell rang and Robert checked the time so he knew when this class was dismissed. Checking his schedule, he saw his last 'class' of the day was English Language Arts. "Mr. Phinney, huh? I haven't heard about him since he was the student teacher in 6th grade." He said to himself as he went downstairs to the class.
On the board in the corner was some writing that read 'Song Of The Day' with the song being 'Best Day Of My Life'. Robert set his stuff down and walked out of the room to lunch, like all the other kids. Each class had assigned tables, to Robert's dismay, and none of his friends were even in the class. Robert sighed a little and sat down. After getting his food he sat down and started to eat his food, suddenly a girl sat in front of him. The girl had a huge afro and chocolate brown eyes, and she was wearing a flannel shirt. "Hey kiddo, you look bored out of your mind." She chuckled. "Yeah, just my luck I'd get a class with nobody I knew." Robert replied. "Hah, me too. And what might your name be?" She prompted. "Robert, and you?" He asked back. "My name's Abrie." She said. They had small talk and ate lunch and then Abrie threw him another question. "Say, do you like any YouTubers?" Abrie questioned, her eyes glistening. "Of course. Who doesn't?!" Robert laughed back. "Alright, wise guy, who's your favorite?" She asked with a smirk. "Duh, Smosh." Abrie's eyes widened and she smiled the biggest smile. "No way. Their my absolute favorite! I even have a Smosh Games hoodie, and a beanie." Robert smiled as he said "Lucky!" They both busted into laughter. "Say Robert, I can tell we're gonna be friends." She smiled, still lightly chuckling. Robert smiled back. "Me too."
Robert and Abrie went back to Mr. Phinney's class and Abrie moved over to Robert's table. Mr. Phinney started class and introduced the students to the new Chromebooks. Abrie and Robert signed into their Chromebooks and were playing games and laughing at eachother. "Hah, oh my god ! Dude press that dude, watch him!" Abrie said as she switched their Chromebooks so Robert could get a better view. Robert clicked the character and he got fatter with every click as the guy was making the stupidest noises. Robert busted out laughing with his adorable laughter making Abrie laugh at his reaction. Mr. Phinney warned the class that there were 3 minutes left and to sign out and get ready to go. Abrie and Robert clicked to log out and realized they were still on eachother's computers. "Dude I completely forgot we switched!" Laughed Robert. "Oh shit, me too man!" Abrie said back. They laughed it off and logged out, getting ready to go. The bell rang and they said their goodbyes until tomorrow.
