The Eye of Fear
Prologue
Princess Nova opened her eyes.
"Princess! You've awakened!" her faithful servant cried to her.
"Yes. I have. Shadowy Curse, please, leave me to rest." she said, sighing.
"I know you were out last night." Shadowy Curse said, her blind gaze fixed on Princess Nova.
"I was. Please, now." she rose, her tail lashing.
"Of course." she dipped her head and walked swiftly out of the room.
I need to find Holly Pie. She had a destiny, and I know it. It wasn't that she had been out last night that made her tired, it was the fact that she had spent much too much time thinking. Holly Pie, the one whom she had been sent a prophecy about, was missing. She had always somehow known where Holly Pie was, but right now, she didn't. It was as if everything had gone missing right now. Everything, including all the other ponies, missing.
"Shadowy Curse. You can come out now. I know you're there." Nova turned her head.
"Sorry, Ma'am, I just couldn't stay away. I couldn't track any ponies." Curse said.
"It's fine, just don't do it again." she sighed.
"But, I did find Holly Pie." Shadowy Curse stopped trotting.
"What? But you said you hadn't found any ponies! Did you lie to me?" Nova was infuriated now, knowing that her faithful servant had lied.
"No, no, no. I just found her." she replied.
"Oh. Then take me to her." Nova stood up.
"Very well."
