Editor's Note- I'm taking a wild leap with this, so bear with me. I've always wanted to do a Banjo-Kazooie fanfic and this idea just came to me. Don't blame me if it sucks!Please review.

Chapter 1: Deception

Dark clawy trees filled a giant dark forest.There is no sun and a dark pool of black water was in the center.

A ripple appeared.

Then moreripples and bubbles began to appear. A huge furry mass walked out from it, wearing a red backpack. It had thick black fur and a scaly creature resided inside the backpack. As it left the pool, it shook its furand raised its head to the sky.

"RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Banjo, Kazooie, Mumbo, and Bottles were all playing cards at Banjo's house.

"Okay, everybody show your hands."

"Me have full house."

"I've got a 3 of a kind."

"Pair."

"Royal Flush!"

Everybody turned angrily towards Kazooie, who just revealed the ultimate hand.

"Oh, come on! Nobody ever gets that without cheating!"

"You're just jealous!"

As everyone argued, the grandfather clock gonged 6 o'clock. Bottles looked up at it and quickly gathered up his things.

"Sorry guys, I got to go."

"Okay, later."

"Seeya."

"Bye bye."

The trio began to play again and finally Mumbo had to go home.

"Hey, why smoke?"

"What?"

"Look."

He pointed to Jinjo Village, which was currently on fire.

As Banjo, Kazooie, and Mumbo worked their way to Jinjo Village,Grunty and Klungowere spying on them through her cauldron.

"Who could possiblyreap more destruction than me?"

"No one, my mistress."

"Do you ever not agree with me?"

"Never, my mistress."

"Just shut up and watch the cauldron."

Banjo and company had arrived at the ruins of Jinjo Village. All buildings were decimated and Jinjos lay everywhere, severely injured.

""This is horrible!"

"Duh! What did you expect when you saw the smoke? A parade?"

"Yes."

Kazooie and Mumbo slapped their heads in frustation and they noticed a survivor. A white Jinjo was limping through the wreckage as the trio moved toward him.

"Excuse me sir but who did this?"

The elder looked up towards Banjo and let out a shriek of terror. He pointed to the bear.

"It was you! IT WAS YOU!"

Final Thought- Well, that sucked.Okay, maybe I'm being too hard on myself. At least the writing isn'tas bad as Banjo Pilot!Oh! Anyway, was it good? Was it horrible? Do you not care? Waste your time reviewing? Yay!
