"I found them in the attic. We used to love these as kids remember?"

"Just come on man lets go play some ball"
"alright ill be down in a minute"
Max left the room. His younger brother Alex was left in his room with Pokemon playing in the background. His pet cat Kirby sat on the bed next to him.
I want to travel across the land, searching far and wide
Each pokemon to understand the power that's inside
"Pokemon Gotta catch em! Hearts so true,
Our courage will pull us through. Youll teach me and ill
Teach you POKEMON!"
"Wow I cant believe I actually remember the song from so long ago."
Gotta catch em all. Gotta catch em all. Pokemon!
Then everything went black.
Alex opened his eyes to a loud "MEOW" in his ear.
He sat up and looked around him. Everything was so bright and colorful.
"what the?"
Alex stood up and realized he was in the Pokemon world.
"Oh man! What happened Kirby?"
"Meow"
"Come on lets go find someone for some answers"
Alex picked up Kirby and started running down the dirt path in front of him. After a few minutes of running a blurred figure came into view. As Alex got closer he realized the blurred figure in the distance was Ash Misty and Brock!
"No Way! Hey Ash!"
"huh? Who are you?" Ash replied with his boyish voice as Alex approached.
"My names Alex!"
"Oh, Hey how do you know my name? You must know me from Rivit City, I just came from there and you want a battle!"
"...uhhm...nn-"
"okay! Go squirtle! Use water beam on that meowth!"
"NO Wait-" but it was to late. Kirby was thrown out of Alex's arms and hit by a powerful blast of water.
Kirby was thrown into the trunk of a nearby tree and when squirtles attack stopped Kirby plopped to the ground.
"OH NO! KIRBY!" Alex ran to his cat.
"Yay Ash! You KO'd his meowth in one hit!" Misty exclaimed happily.
Kirby let out his last weak meow and died in Alex's arms. Alex was a bad mouthed kid when he got angry or frustrated.
"You see here you mother f*(&^%" alex was shaking. "that was no pokemon! That was my pet cat!"
