"Hey, Wise Girl. Watcha up to?" Percy said sitting next to his best friend, Annabeth.
"I was having fun until you showed up," she joked, setting down her book."
"That hurt!" he played along, holding his hand to his heart.
"You'll live."
"Haha, guess what tomorrow is."
"Hmmm… Easter?" she laughed.
"What!? No!"
"I know, I know, it's Christmas."
"Yep."
"Why?"
"Well, I just wanted to make sure you remembered to get me a gift."
"Who said I was getting you anything?"
"You."
"Wait, What?"
"Bye Wise Girl!"
"Get back here you Seaweed Brain!"
"Nope."
"Garahh!"
The next day…
"Merry Christmas, Seaweed Brain," Annabeth said, waltzing up to Percy.
"Merry Christmas, Wise Girl," Percy replied grinning. He continued, "So what did you get me?"
"Nothing special."
"What? You're kidding?"
"Nope," She laughed. "I got you a pen."
"But-"
"Open it."
As he opened the pen, a little banner with the words "Merry Christmas, Seaweed!" written on it with little Christmas trees on the sides popped up.
"I thought you didn't get me anything special?"
"I lie."
"Haha. Oh, here." he held out his hand.
"Your hand?"
"Just take it," He pulled her into the woods and then started climbing a tree.
"Really, Percy?!" she called climbing behind him.
"You'll see."
When they reached the top he told her to look at the water. There was a small boat with the Stolls stumbling around in it holding a sign that said "Merry Christmas, Abethnna!"
"Uh, Percy?" She giggled at the boy staring at his handiwork.
"Yeah?"
"My name's Annabeth…"
"Garahh! Curse my dyslexia!"
"It's the thought that counts."
