Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter. How sad.

Neville ran around through the Great Hall, frantically searching for Luna.

All around him were the bodies of those who gave their lives for the greater cause.

Neville just hoped that Luna wasn't one of those people.

He ran faster.

Then he saw a streak of blonde hair.

He ran up to her, and touched her shoulder.

"Neville," Luna said mistily.

Neville immediately pulled Luna into a hug, lifting her up and twirling her around.

"I thought…I thought you were dead…" Neville said.

"You shouldn't have been worried, Neville," Luna said, putting her hand in his.

"Why not?" Neville asked, surprised.

"If I was gone, what would you do?" Luna asked, "Would you be brave in my honor?"

"You give me courage, Luna," Neville said, "And the hope that someday, I will do something important."
"You have done something important," Luna said vaguely, "You became my first love."
"L-love?" Neville stammered.

"Love," Luna said mistily, "I love you, Neville."
"I-I love you too, Luna," Neville said, kissing Luna.

"Neville?" Luna asked, "What if this is our last day together?"
"Then take this," Neville said, pulling a ring out his pocket, "It was my mother's."

"It's beautiful," Luna breathed, "How did she get it?"
"My father gave it to her in their seventh year," Neville replied.

Luna had never felt this way before.

This was a feeling of pure, inexplicable love for Neville.

And her eyes filled up with tears.

"Oh Neville," she whispered, throwing her arms around his neck, staring at the ring he had gave her.

That poor little review button, he's so lonely. I know the story was short….
