Today was a day she did not want to face, the wraith were still on Atlantis, they were still trying to find out a way to distribute the retrovirus. Elizabeth Weir sat up out of her bed, she had been plagued with headaches from when the wraith had arrived. She got a call on her radio, someone wanted her to meet them in her office. She stood up, she swayed for a moment, realising she had moved to quickly. She put on her clothes and made her way out of the room. Realising that Carson didn't need any more stress, she went to her office, it took her twice as long to get there trying not to miss a step.

When she entered her office she found John Sheppard sitting in a chair. He looked at her.

'You look a bit shaky today, Elizabeth!'

'I am quite alright thank you, what did you want?' her tone was cold, she just wanted to crawl up in a corner and not think about anything.

'I was just wondering what you thought about the what had happened with the attack?' he never took his eyes off of her, there was something wrong and he could see it.

'I think that they need to find a better way of delivering the gas before they become impatient and broadcast our location.'

'How exactly are they meant to do that though? They have spent the last 3 days working on a solution which didn't work.'

Elizabeth had started to sway again, she closed her eyes.

'Maybe if they put their heads together and acted as a team with most of the scientists helping…' she was getting angry.

'Elizabeth, they are doing the best they can.'

'Maybe they should try harder.' She stopped talking and walked over to the door.

'Elizabeth!'

She had started to make her way towards the briefing room. They were going to discuss what could be done. But before they had made it to the briefing room, Elizabeth stopped.

'Elizabeth' John was shouting.

She lifted up a hand to tell him to be quiet for a moment, she needed to get away from all of the noise. She walked away from John, knowing that he was following her, she made her way down the stairs, but when she reached the bottom of the stair, she collapsed. The last thing that she remembered was John lowering her to the floor.

She woke up to the sound of angry voices shouting at each other. The wraith was starting to shout at Carson. Carson was checking Elizabeth and the wraith was becoming agitated. The wraith stared at Elizabeth as she started to move.

Carson moved over to her and told her to stay still. They did not know what was wrong with her. She felt really bad, now that she was getting her bearings back.

'Carson, what happened?'

'You collapsed, are you feeling ok, lass. John carried you in here and you were barely breathing.'

'Yes I'm fine.' It was a lie of course. She needed to get back to sorting out the wraith. They could not be left alone without her supervising their actions. 'I just felt light-headed, I have skipped breakfast and was in a rush to get to the meeting on time.'

Carson did not know if he should believe her, after all people don't just collapse in the middle of the morning. 'Okay, you can go but I want you to come back if you feel worse.'

'Thank you Carson.' She stood up and began to walk back to her office when a wraith stood in front of her. He stared at her.

'If any of your team pulls a stunt like this again, actions will be taken to broadcast a signal.' the wraith threatened.

She didn't know what to do. All she could see was the wraith being dragged away. It was going to be a very long day, she had to avoid Carson, make sure John did not find out that she had been released, and make sure Caldwell would not see this as a compromise to making decisions. Something strange was going on she could feel it.
