Harry blinked dumbly at the Ravenclaw in front of him. He looked at Neville to see if he understood the Blonde girl, but the other Griffendore looked just as confused as Harry felt.

"Luna what are you asking about?" Harry asked.

Luna stared over the tops of their heads like she was seeing something only she could see. "What do you mean?" Her dreamy voiced asked.

Neville leaned closer to Harry. "I think she just asked me out."

Harry started as he stared hard at Luna. "Did you?" Disbelief colored his voice.

Luna blinked and looked at him before saying rather simply, "I asked you if you would like to go Narfull hunting next Hogmeade weekend."

"Yes," Neville said with a blush.

"Good, Narfulls like to hid when people aren't in pairs," and with that she skipped away.

Harry stared at Neville. "She actually asked you out."

Neville nodded dumbly.

"So where will we find Narfulls?" Neville asked as he followed Luna around shop to shop.

"Narfulls follow Harry. Harry attracts them; they like secrets and flowers!"

She skipped into Hog's Head. Neville blinked, "Why would Harry be in here?"

"To meet someone in secret of course," she said happily.

Neville looked around until his eyes found a pair in the corner, his mouth dropped.

"Marcus Flint?!" Neville found for the first time he wanted to curse. "Merlin's Underwear!"

Luna frowned. "Close your mouth before a Gumbral gets into it. Gumbrals like to climb up your pallet and into your brain. Brains are a good source of nutrients for them to eat."

Neville shut his mouth quickly. "So do you see any Narfulls?"

"Yes, lots!" Luna said and clapped her hands.

Neville stared openly at Harry as the Chosen One was pushed into the corner as Marcus Flint kissed him.

"What does he see in him?" Neville asked wide eyed.

Luna smiled. "A good, protective guy."

Neville blinked. "Did you want me to know about this; is that why you asked me out?"

"Harry's a good friend even if he's littered with Starcoal," Luna noted dreamily.

"What's a Starcoal?" Neville asked slightly alarmed.

"Don't worry; everyone has one," she said as she skipped away from their hiding spot. "Harry just has more than most."

"But what are they?!" Neville demanded once they were outside.

"They attract people's attention and make them think they have to stare at you." Luna explained as though everyone, except Neville, knew this.

"Oh," Neville said, not knowing what else to say.

"You like my starcoal," Luna said dreamily, "and I like yours."

Neville blinked. "Um…thanks? Wait! Did you just say you like me?"

Luna smiled. "Next time we can Starcoal hunt!" She leaned forward and pressed her lips to his cheek. "I caught yours, no one should look at you anymore, now that I have your Starcoal." With that she skipped back towards the castle.

Harry came out of Hog's Head and spotted him. "Neville, what are you doing here?"

Marcus steeped out behind Harry and wrapped his arms around his boyfriend.

"We was hunting Narfulls," Neville explained dreamily, his hand tracing the kiss' phantom, "But Luna caught a Starcoal instead."

"Never mind," Harry muttered shaking his head, "I don't want to know." With that Harry and Marcus walked off, for a more secluded place.

Neville sighed as he headed back on his own; until he noticed that no one even turned to look at him even after he bumped into someone.

"Maybe Starcoals are real." Neville wondered out loud.
