"For the last time," Zaros said menacingly, "I am telling you, there will be no masticating in my presence!"
Zamorak looked up from the bag in his hands, a potato chip held halfway to his mouth. He blinked, then slowly lowered the chip back into the bag. Deliberately, he rolled the top of the bag down. The crinkling sound echoed throughout the chamber, and Zaros's expression got steadily more sour.
"Very sorry about that," Zamorak said, tucking the bag into his belt with a final crunchy crinkle. "Anything else you would like to decree, while we're at it?"
Zaros lifted a hand, his index finger pointed balefully toward the chair in which Zamorak sat. "That chair is far too… squeaky."
Zamorak looked down at his chair, the movement causing it to groan loudly. "Is it now."
"Dispose of it," Zaros ordered imperiously.
Zamorak frowned. "I like this chair. It's comfy. You would not believe how hard it is to find a comfy chair."
"Dispose of it," Zaros repeated.
Zamorak stood, folded the chair up with a sullen snap, and threw it unceremoniously into the corner. The resulting crash hung in their ears for nearly thirty seconds.
"Better?" Zamorak asked, his expression surly.
"Yes," Zaros said, "but I still have one problem that must be addressed."
Zamorak crossed his arms and waited.
"That thing on your head," Zaros said. "It offends me. Get rid of it."
Zamorak reached up and touched the edge of the black fedora that sat blithely on his head. "Oh, come on. It's cool."
"No," Zaros said, "it is not. It is unnecessary and I do not like it."
"Okay, you know what?" Zamorak said. "That's it. I've had it with your stupid rules that make no sense and your stupid empire and all the stupid people who think this is working. I've had it!"
Zaros's demeanor shifted. "Excuse me?"
"You heard me," Zamorak said. "I'm done with you." He turned toward the doors and yelled, "Enakhra! Bring it in!"
The doors flew open, and Enakhra charged in. She rushed over to Zamorak and thrust the Staff of Armadyl into his hands.
"Thank you," he told her.
She beamed at him.
He turned back to Zaros, Staff in hand.
"Let's do this," he said.
A/N: Yeah, so... I don't know. It was late when I wrote this, but it made me and Alex laugh so I thought I would share it.
