Gajeel could remember that day. The day that blue- haired shrimp had stolen his heart.

Gajeel had been following them for a while now. The tall, ebony- haired one with plant magic, the other tall, ginger one with speed magic, and... Gajeel felt his heart beat faster. The tiny, shrimp of a girl in the middle. The one who made his heart beat faster. 'What... what is this feeling?' He asked himself over and over, never finding an answer. So Gajeel concluded that if he didn't have the answer, then the girl must! He'd just have to beat it out of her.

"Geheehee..." Gajeel laughed his little laugh quietly. "I'll have fun with this one."

The blue-haired one stopped. "Guys, did you hear something?" She asked worridly.

"No, as didn't, Levy." They chimed together.

But still Shrimp looked nervous. "Okay, but let's hurry up. I feel like somethings watching us..." She shivered and rubbed her frail hands against the smooth skin of her arms.

Gajeel watched them walk away, now was his chance! He jumped down from his perch on the building above their heads. "Geheehee... Now it's time for my fun." He smirked, knowing full well they had shivered.

"W-who a-ar-e Y-you?" Speedy asked.

"Your worst nightmare." Gajeel cracked his knuckles and beat them up mercilessly. He turned to Shrimp. "Now it's your turn." He told her. She shivered, but held her ground. Gajeel raised an eyebrow. Most people would have wet their pants, run away, or fainted by now. Or a combination of wall three.

Gajeel threw a couple punches, but pulled back as he wanted her in good condition for questioning.

"Now, I need to ask you a Que-" Gajeel stopped once he realized that she had passed out. "Shit!" Gajeel cursed. "I didn't punch her that hard, did I?" A quick look at her told him yes, he did. Gajeel figured he might as well do what he came here to do, and ask questions later. I mean, it wasn't like he needed answers... right?

So now here he was, kneeling on one knee in front of his girlfriend as of two years. After the seven-year time skip, Levy and Gajeel had hooked up. After the G.M.G. incident, Gajeel had realized how scared he was of losing Levy. So, as soon as he could, he went out and bought a ring. It was a white-gold band with a heart-shaped sapphire gem, the same shade as her hair. Levy was currently staring at Gajeel with her hands clasped firmly over her mouth, tears threatening to spill out of her round eyes.

Gajeel started to speak. " Levy l, I know we didn't meet under the... best... of circumstances," He paused here. "But I hop you've forgiven me. So, Levy Mair McGarden, will you do me the honor of becoming either?" Gajeel looked at her with hopeful eyes.

Gajeel felt hos heart breaking. They had been there for a minute, and she hand' t spoken one word. He was just going to turn and leave when he heard one word that changed his world forever...

"Yes."
