Just a little one shot story, that was stored in the back of my mind for some time. Please enjoy, read and review!

It was a cool summer night around one in the morning. Brock was asleep that night, when he quickly awoke from a dream that involved Reba. She was all he could think about lately. How stupid he was for letting that woman go. He mentally kicked himself every day for it. He loved Barbra Jean, but he wasn't in love with Barbra Jean. He was in love with Reba. He sat straight up in bed, with his hand to his head, he got out of bed and openend the window, when he realized he could see Reba's bedroom window. He didn't want to look like some sick sleuth or stalker, so he tried to hide behind the drapes. "it's one in the mornin she won't be up." he thought to himself. And there he saw her, she walked into her room wearing a black skirt, that hugged her hips, and made her look absolutely amazing. Obviously she just came back from a meeting. "wow" he said to himself. Mental images of her were everywhere in his mind. He shaked his head, trying to get her out of his brain. But he couldn't, this was the person he spent half of his life with, the person he first made love to, his best friends, and yet his ex-wife. Things happenend so quickly it seemed just like yesterday, when he asked reba to marry him.

FLASHBACK:

"Reba, I've been meaning to tell you this for a long time.."

" What is it Brock?"

" Well Reba, we've been going out for almost 2 yrs, and well i love you..."

" i love you too."

" Exactly, so..." he bent down on one knee. "I love you, and I want to be with you forever, so Reba Nell will you please marry me?"

" Oh brock..." she giggled, swung her arms around her neck, and kissed him.

" I take that as a yes."

"YES!" she yelled at the top of her lungs.

END

But it wasn't like that anymore. They were divorced, and he was married to Barbra Jean and they had a son. He peeked out the window one last time before turning away. Reba had changed into a green satin night gown. He loved that night gown, and the way it clinged to her body. He had bought that for her on their 15th anniversary, he was surprised she still had it. He watched as she got ready for bed, she went to close the curtains, their eyes met. Brock didn't turn away in time enough. "Oh God now she's gunna kill me and tell me how dispicable, and sickening I am." He thought to himself. But her reaction was almost in fact the total opposite in which he suspected. She smiled, and she blew a gentle kiss towards him, as she knew he was watching her the whole time. Brock smiled back and with that Reba closed her curtains and Brock layed back down in bed. Even thought they couldn't be together, they still wanted each other and maybe who knows? one day things may change, but for now they had to remain the way they were.

Every other Saturday

First thing in the morning

I turn the TV on to make the quiet go away

I know why but I don't know why

We ever let this happen

Fallin' for forever was a big mistake

There's so much not to do and all day not do it in

Every other weekend

Every other Sunday

I empty out my backseat

While my children hug their mother in the parking lot

We don't touch; we don't talk much

Maybe goodbye to each other

as she drives away with every piece of heart I've got

I re-convince myself we did the right thing

every other weekend

I can't tell her I love her

I can't tell him I love him

Cause there's too many questions and ears in the car

So, I don't tell him I miss him

I don't tell her I need her

She's over me that's where we are

He's over me that's where we are

We're as close as we might ever be again

Every other weekend

Yeah, for fifteen minutes, we're a family again

God I wish that he was still with me again

Every other weekend
