Just A Dream
The girl rolled over on her purple bedsheets, causing the bed to squeak. Pushing some stray hairs out of her eyes, she looked up at the ceiling, and held her hand steady on her forehead.
The fan whirred softly, but she didn't notice it. Instead, she sat up, and slipped off the bed before heading down the stairs. She stopped at the bottom of the stairs, and looked around.
Her mother was no where in sight, so she took the initiative to creep over to the door and step into her shoes. Lacing them up, and standing, she pushed the door open, and walked out into the frigid air.
Shivering, she crossed her arms across her chest; she wasn't clad in the proper clothes for the weather. She reached back into house and snagged the scarf out of the closet before wrapping it around her neck and passing through the front gate. The neighborhood was void of life, and she kick a small stone into someone's yard.
A small yelp from a pokemon caused her to jump slightly, but she ignored the whimpering pokemon, and walked out of the cluster of houses. The air was cooler now, since there was no shielding buildings to keep the chill away.
But she didn't notice. Instead, she pulled her hair into a ponytail to keep it out of her face, and headed down a small incline and across a small creek. Looking up, she saw that the small hedges dotted in red were getting closer the faster she walked.
The girl picked up her pace, and rounded the bend before coming to the entrance to the small garden. She headed inside, and plucked a deep, scarlet colored rose on her way past a small huddle of them.
She hopped over a few tulips, and landed on a soft patch of grass, secluded from the rest of the garden, and hidden far in the corner.
Kneeling down, she smoothed out her clothes, and let out a quick breath before setting the rose in front of a rounded stone. She looked up and stared at it intently for a minute before tracing the name on its front. She felt her eyes starting to get glassy, and her lower lip trembled.
She took off her hat, and bowed her head silently.
"I miss you," she said, and blinked a few droplets from her eyes.
"I love you."
There was a pause, and she looked back up at the stone with saddened eyes
"And it seems like you were only just a dream."

I felt like writing this, so I did. If you didn't catch it, the girl is ANY character from the pokemon games, and she went to the grave of her male counter part. It could be any of the characters, and that is up to your imagination.
I will be leaving fanfiction for a while, since things aren't very good around here, and I need a break. I just need it. I might be back in October at the latest.
