"Okay I think I figured it out" Ryuk said as he examined the packaging again.
"It's been an hour Ryuk, I think we should just give up" Sidoh said as he examined a near by rock out of pure bordem.
"No, Light told me that I could have all the apples I wanted if I grew them" Ryuk yelled.
"You believe Light Yagami?" Rem stated, letting her hatred for the human leak out through her words.
"I have no choice, besides why shouldn't I?" Ryuk replied as he once again attempt to grow his own apple tree. He carefully picked out a dark seed, and with extraordinary caution he placed it on the ground and stood back.
"It's still not working" Sidoh said as he rejoined the other two Shinigami.
"Ahhhh, Light lied" Ryuk cried like a child and began going through withdraw. His body began to twist and turn in unnatural ways as he hopped around begging for apples.
"This is your fault", Rem said simply, "If you hadn't gotten addicted in the first place, you wouldn't be in this mess".
"Why don't you go and ask Light Yagami what to do?" Sidoh said as he knelt on the ground and began poking the tiny seed. "Or why you just don't steal some, its far easier. That's how I get chocolate
"I don't think he'll tell me, Light is so mean to me. Besides I he told me I could have an unlimited supply of apples" Ryuk whined.
"I don't know why you don't just kill him, Light Yagami is no better than any other filthy human. I have seen dirt smarter than Light Yagami" Rem spat as Light's face appeared in her mind.
"Well if your so smart why don't you figure it out" Ryuk yelled as he began doing back flips around Sidoh and Rem.
"Fine" Rem mumbled and picked up the discarded apple seed bag. " Step one, take seed out of bag" Rem read and picked up Ryuk's seed off of the floor. "Step two, dig small hole in the ground", Rem said and followed the direction.
"Stupid Shinigami, you forgot to dig the hole" Sidoh laughed.
"Easy mistake" Ryuk spat as he twisted out of one of his positions and into another.
"Step three, cover seed with dirt", Rem read and did so, "Step four-". Rem had stopped, she examined the bag and let out a small laugh.
"What, what is step four?" Ryuk cried as his withdraw symptoms became worse.
"One of the steps is missing" Rem smiled and Sidoh laughed hysterically.
"No, it can't be" Ryuk roared and grabbed the packet from his upside down position. He examined the packet frantically as he searched for his missing step.
"It looks like it was ripped off" Sidoh pointed out.
"Damn!" Ryuk roared and jumped around, "I gotta find Light, he'll know what to do" and with a flash the Shinigami was gone. Rem smiled and opened her hand to reveal a small strip of paper. Sidoh's eyes gleamed with mischief as he let out a laugh.
"That was good Rem" Sidoh said thought his fits of laughter.
"I don't like apples" Rem smiled and let the strip drop to the floor.
