My first ever rotg fanfic (wait, it's not even a fanfic. It's a poem! Oh silly me... I'm not really sure if it's a poem... uhh *dugs a hole on the ground*) and it's bennefrost!

I'm sorry for the lameness. I was having second thoughts whether to post this in fanfiction or not but decided (actually, I haven't.. I just *continued digging a hole on the ground*) to give it a try...

Uh...before I start hiding in shame...you.. uh...go ahead and give it a read. Hope you all would enjoy it and.. um...yeah.

Reviews are much appreciated.

Winter loved him and he loved Winter back;

It started out small, it started out fast.

It started on a night so grim and dark

With shadows lurking and nightmares bringing fright.

When all seemed lost, his light flickered bright!

Driving away the shadows back into the night.

And that was then that Winter knew

He loved the boy with the golden, bright hue.

Winter loved him and he loved Winter back.

The little boy is no longer a child.

Still his light burned bright; golden and warm.

Shining brightly and shimmering beautifully.

Winter was shocked to see the teen

And suddenly, there was a kind of fire burning it his eyes.

A new sort of feeling bubbled up inside him.

Confusing him, making him blush and feel giddy.

Winter loved him and he loved Winter back.

He's beautiful brightlight is growing up fast.

Although the fire still burned bright,

Winter began to feel fright.

Sooner or later Winter will lose his golden boy

With each passing day, he seems to drift far away.

He fears the day when his Jamie will forget

So he prays to the moon above that he doesn't.

Winter loved him but he no longer loved him back.

He's bright light now belongs to someone else.

He offered his bright heart to someone new

In turn it, it shattered poor Winter's heart to bits.

Winter clenched his hand with each step she took.

Winter protested with every vow he spoke.

Winter screamed NO everytime they said I DO.

In the end, tear's fell down from Winter's eyes.

The snow fell slowly like tears that winter night.

Winter was crying and sobbing under the pale moonlight.

He begged and begged; he prayed and prayed

For the heavens to bring back his beloved brightlight.

Winter loved the boy, he truly did.

He told the moon that and the moon listened quietly.

He told the moon that despite him not loving Winter anymore.

Winter will continue to love him forevermore.

Many years past, Winter stayed by his side.

From the day he grew old 'till the day he died.

All those years, he never forgot and stopped believing in Winter.

That at least, Winter thought, was enough for him to carry on.

Before the brightlight dimmed and died away,

Winter stood beside his bed and greeted him fondly.

He spoke Winter's name and Winter smiled sadly.

He held Winter's hand and Winter held it tightly.

For a while they reminisced the days when he was young

Filled with hope and wonder and dreams and fun.

Before he rested for good he heard Winter whisper

I've always loved you, Jamie Bennett.

Always have, always will. I'll never stop! That's a promise.

Even when you're gone; I'll never ever forget you.

I hope I could see you again; maybe in another life. I'll wait.

Winter had always loved you. Winter loved you still.
