Pokémon 5D's
It had been several years since the adventures of Ash Ketchum and his friends and, ever since than the Kanto region and suffered greatly. Throughout certain parts of the region the areas were filled trash and the buildings were destroyed. These parts were known to be the Satellite Sector were Yusei Fudo lived with his friends and his Pokémon: Pikachu. Two years ago, Yusei was betrayed by his best friend Jack Atlas as he stole Yusei's Z-ring and escaped to the Indigo Plateau with his Pokémon: Eevee and leaving Yusei with just his Pikanium Z. Together with his friends Yusei managed to escape the Satellite and confront Jack who had managed to become the Champion (or as Jack like to call himself "king") of the Kanto Region. Yusei quickly challenged him to a battle his Pikachu against Jack's Eevee in order to get back his Z-ring, however during their battle three strange creatures started to appear and red, blue and yellow marks both appeared on Yusei and Jack's arms. The Kanto Security busted there battle and arrested Yusei for leaving the Satellite and sent him to the Facility.
The next day Jack woke up not knowing what happened as the Director of the Kanto Region Rex Goodwin told Jack that he was chosen by the three legendary birds: Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno to be a Signer. A long time ago when the Earth was still young there existed a tribe of people who could summon the legendary birds with ease, some people even had a mark to help the birds in their battle against evil. These people known as Signers help defeat the evil the threatened the world and in order to help protect the world throughout time new signers are chosen every 5,000 years. Meanwhile in the Facility Yusei had already made two new friends: Yanagi Tenzen and Bolt Tanner a former champion. Yusei managed to work out a deal with the head of security Chief Armstrong by defeating him in a battle. After being released from the Facility, Yusei met a man known as Blister who was a hacker and a friend of Tanner who let him stay in his house. A few days after Yusei was freed from the Facility he went to the evidence compound to get back his Pikanium Z but during his escape he was knocked out and got amnesia. He was found by two kids, Leo and his sister Luna who tried to help him remember his name. Despite Leo's best efforts nothing worked so Leo challenged Yusei to a battle. Leo sent his Hitmondchan and Yusei sent out Pikachu, during the battle Yusei began to recover some of his memories until his could remember everything. Leo managed to put up a good fight but a final Thunderbolt from Pikachu was all it took to decide the match. Yusei thanked Leo and Luna for their help but told them to stay away from him for their own safety. The next day Leo and Luna heard from their friend Dexter that the infamous trainer known as the Black Rose was to appear at the underground battles held at the Indigo Plateau at night. Meanwhile Jack was doing everything he could to summon the Legendary Birds, but he realize the birds would only appear when he and Yusei battled. So Jack payed Yusei a visit and gave him back his Z-ring and told him to participate in the Fortune Cup, the tournament that Goodwin was holding in order. While Yusei had no interest initially of joining the Fortune Cup he was soon visited by Lazar, an assistant to Goodwin blackmailed Yusei by saying that his friends by in Satellite would arrested for Yusei's actions if did not join the Fortune Cup.
