Summary: One person he fell in love with sixty years ago
Rating: K

Pairing: G/C meow…..what else is there?

He is just laying in his bedroom. An eighty-something-year old man. He's just dreaming of his past. That was when he met her then. There had always been just one. Only one person he ever truly loved. He dreams about some meeting. He had twenty years ago. You can't call it meeting. It was just bumping into someone else he knows. The one person he loved sixty years ago. But did he ever tell that someone. Well he didn't, no.

I met my old lover
On the street last night
She seemed so glad to see me
I just smiled
And we talked about some old times
And we drank ourselves some beers
Still crazy after all these years
Oh, still crazy after all these years

Well he did always love her. That twenty years ago they talked about how they fell in love some forty years before. It was surprising that he met her. But for old time's sake they went into a bar. They were laughing and sharing stories so far until they walked into different directions at the end of the day.

I'm not the kind of man
Who tends to socialize
I seem to lean on
Old familiar ways
And I ain't no fool for love songs
That whisper in my ears
Still crazy after all these years
Oh, still crazy after all these years

He was still crazy after all these years. Forty years after they met the first time ever. And well they somehow realized that there was something between them gluing them together. At the end of the day she headed home and he needed to go to work. "Maybe", they promised each other, "someday we'll meet here again somehow."

Four in the morning
Crapped out, yawning
Longing my life a--way
I'll never worry
Why should I?
It's all gonna fade

Well a year ago today. They just met at the same bar. He was just walking by the windows as he peeked inside and saw her chatting with her daughter at a table not that far. He decided to go in and greet them. Not like he hadn't seen her in the morning and every day in his entire life. It was still that he loves her and he falls in love with her every single day, again.

Now I sit by my window
And I watch the cars
I fear I'll do some damage
One fine day
But I would not be convicted
By a jury of my peers
Still crazy after all these years
Oh, still crazy
Still crazy
Still crazy after all these years

And well glancing to the other side of his bed he sees her sleeping form. After sixty years of seeing her he's still falling every time again. Every once in a while they meet their former co-workers and have fun all the time. They talk about the old times, as when they were working still together and just throwing stolen glances at each other.

Well some day not many years after their team was split up, they find their courage to say what they feel. And even after a so long time they are still crazy in love.

Never in their life they have been more happier than now. Two eighty-something-year old people living in loving matrimony for more than thirty years so far.
