Pitiful Subaru. Stupid fool. You really think all that time we been together it actually means something to me?
Tch. You mean nothing to me Subaru. You are nothing to me.
Just a stupid boy that had too many weaknesses. A weakness I do not care not for.
Don't you see Subaru, you were just a toy. A mere toy that was easily thrown away.
What did you think you saw in me?
Love?
A word that holds no meaning. Just another emotion that is just as weak as the others. Subaru, I admit you are powerful, but you can't beat me. Your heart, as much as you dismay it, is preventing you from actually doing so.
Your heart. That beating organ in your chest. The one thing that longs for me even now. The one thing that's preventing you from killing me.
I smile at your weakness.
The shocked look on your face, when you saw it was I who killed your sister. Seeing her blood stain my hands. Seeing your emerald eyes widen out of total fear and pain. You didn't know what to feel. Your heart cared for both your sister and I.
You said I betrayed you, but I didn't. Because I was never on the same side as you.
But, I did do something unexpected of me. I sacrificed my eye, to save you. Why? I... I am not sure. But, I promise it will not happen again. For we are now enemies, Subaru.
Subaru, the next time we meet. The next time we fight, it will be your last.
Subaru, if you do defeat me, I know you will end up taking your own life. I know the pain will be too much. But I, on the other hand, could care less for your life. I carry no remorse. Because, as you say, I have no heart that will ever care for you.
