Written for the Marathon Competition (happiness)

"It's funny, you know," Jughead says, a hint of a smile on his lips.

"What is?" Betty asks, nuzzling against his chest.

Jughead brushes his fingers absently through her hair. "I thought I was happy before. But it's nothing compared to what you make me feel."

The confession feels strange. Jughead so rarely bothers confessing to his emotions. It always leaves him feeling vulnerable.

With a grin, Betty leans up, kissing him quickly. "So, we're each other's happiness?"

"Guess so," he laughs, pulling her closer.

"I think I can live with that."

Jughead leans back. Maybe vulnerability isn't so bad where Betty Cooper is concerned.
