He hid his sorrow behind his smile
He couldn't be happy
All he knew was pain and hurt
He didn't know he was free
No one dared to reach out
To save his heart
He didn't know where to go
He didn't know where to start
Full of hatred and pain in him
All he could see was the dark
Even if he tried to reach the light
It still seemed too far
Everything was all a blank
No one in the world cared
Even if he did start to cry
He was never heard
All he did was to smile
Nevertheless he was always sad
He never knew the light
He never knew what talent he had
One day a light was shone
His pathway was lighted
Though it wasn't as bright as the sun
It was always what he had wanted
Since that day his light was lot
His pathway was still unsure
Though that isn't still the answer
At least he's more secure
