Dagobah's warm climate surrounded her. Fog mist swirled as she gathered the Force around her. The planet was very strong with the Light Side, so she used it to her advantage.

The scattered pieces of metalwork form her quarterstaff, wires, and the all-important kyber crystal—'the heart of the lightsaber', as Master Luke had told her—were lying on the wet ground.

Her crossed-legged position gave Rey the meditation essence she needed to concentrate on the flowing energy that was the Force, so closing her eyes, she raised her hands ever so slightly, picking up the pieces one by one until they all floated in front of her. In her mind she saw the visible blue print of the design, putting the kyber crystal in the main outlet, follow by different metallic tiny bits-and-bobs, only using the Force to guide her.

The hilt of the staff contained all of the pieces together, as now they were all secure. Rey opened her eyes to meet the once-a-staff to now a Jedi weapon. The middle of the staff was where two ignition buttons were, as well as the hook so it could hang onto her belt. She already started to compare the differences between Master Luke's and her's. His was one sided with just the one blade, but her's seemed to have two holes for two blades. It wasn't like Kylo Ren's, as that sabre had exhaust vents and three blades as a result, this one did not have feeble exhaust vents. This one had two blades that when ignited, would be strong, smooth and powerful.

For the most part, it was symmetrical. Where the blades would ignite, the saber was the thickest, then had a few differently dispersed rings of depth, and finally was the smoothest and flattest where her hands would hold it.

Rey lifted the lightsaber in front of her, standing from off the ground. The grey hilt shimmered in the dim light, just showing the small glimpse of lightness within the crowded swamp/forest.

Rey's fingers reached for the ignition switches for both sides, and felt the Force grow closer as she finally pressed it down.

Snap-hiss

The green light of the connected twin blades ignited from the sabre. Rey felt the heat beam from the weapon, as the glow spread across her face, lighting up her brown eyes. Together the greenness of her sabre and the environment merged, leaving the area a blur of stunning emerald hues.

But before the liveness of mint green could take over, a flicker of beautiful serene blue shines through. The Force-ghosts of Master Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker watched the girl from afar. She deactivates her weapon, oblivious towards their presences, but definitely sensed the multiple energies within the Force.

A/N

This is my idea of an ending for Episode VIII, and I hope that it actually works out this way, though I think Rey's weapon should be blue or a total different colour that be haven't seen much.
