Prologue
All my life, I've been unnoticed. Everyone would rather pay attention to my 'genius' brother, Spencer. I'm Raylee Morgan Reid, and this is the story of how I became a hunter.
I was born on June 8, 1983, to Diana and William Reid, and a 2 year old brother.
My life was pretty normal until Spencer started 1st grade. I was 4 years old when we got the call. During the middle of the day, we got a call from his school, while I was eating lunch. My parents were scared, believing Spence had been hurt or sick; however, the teacher on the other end couldn't have been happier.
She went on and on about how Spencer was a genius. She said he had completed all of his schoolwork for the day, in only 3 hours.
Six years later, he graduated high school. I was 10, he was 12. I had just finished 4th grade.
On my 22nd birthday, he moved to Quantico, Virginia, and Joined the B.A.U. He met Aaron Hotchner, Elle Greenway, Jason Gideon, Derek Morgan, Jennifer Jareau, and Penelope Garcia.
I didn't get to see him until my 23rd birthday, when he and Morgan invited me to come live with them in their apartment.
Sometimes, I would help them with cases, but I could only stay with Garcia and help with research. Four months later, I joined the B.A.U. Now I get to do about everything the rest get to do, but Spencer freaks out when I go with them on a murder case.
