Claim: I changed the way Edward responds to Bella when he stops the van from crushing her in the book Twilight because I believe that changing this part of the book would change their relationship.
Everything changed after Edward stopped the van from killing me. So the next day I asked how he stopped the van.
"How did you stop the van?" I asked cautiously.
"It's hard to explain." Edward said calmly.
I don't care just tell me!" I said anxiously.
"Fine. I'll tell you but you have to promise not to tell ANYONE!" He said with a loud voice."
"I promise." I said softly.
"It all started 114 years ago. I was at a theatre when a whole squad of demon-like people came in and started biting people on the neck and I was one of them." He said trying not to scare me.
"THEN WHAT HAPPENED!" I asked loudly.
"I woke up the next morning feeling like I could eat people or animals." He said with a soft voice.
"You must be joking." I said like I was choking on my spit.
"It's not a joke. I am a vampire. I've been one for 114 years." He said.
"Do you think I'm scared to be around you now." I said.
"Yes." He said with a raspy voice.
"I'm not. We are still friends no matter what." I said while giving him a hug."
