KK: Okay, I have never actually watched a single episode of Invader Zim.

Yamik, Yam, Kay, and KH: Neither have we.

Yaki: I watched the pilot episode.

KK: Oh, wow, one episode.

KH: That's more information than any of the rest of us has.

KK: Just get on with the story.

Disclaimer: I think I would know if we owned Invader Zim.

Warning: Yaoi (of course), mentions of past m-preg.

Dib watched almost curiously as his husband and daughter tried to figure out Thanksgiving. He thought it was pathetic since he had explained it so many times before.

"Why would you need to 'give thanks' if you say thank you already?" Zib (their daughter) asked.

"It's for giving thanks for things you don't normally give thanks for." Dib said sounding exasperated.

"Zim is confused." Zim said. "What don't we give thanks for?"

"Umm…" Dib tried to come up with something but his mind drew a blank.

"Why not give thanks for Game Slave?" asked a voice.

"No, none of us play Game Slave." Dib said distractedly.

"What!? How could you not let my niece play Game Slave?!"

Dib jumped and twirled around to see Gaz. She was glaring at him. Her own daughter was playing the latest version of Game Slave and was appearently winning from the small smile on her face.

"Dad should be here in a little while." Gaz said and looked over to Zim and Zib. "What were you talking about?"

"What Thanksgiving means."

"And what you should give thanks for."

Taz looked up. She had been wondering that too. She turned to her seven year old cousin and made faces at her. The other smiled and mimicked her.

"You should give thanks for having video games." said Gaz.

"Or WAFFLES!" Gir yelled coming into the room.

"Hey, Gir!" Taz called to him.

"Hey, Tazzy!" Gir called, his blue eyes twinkling happily.

"You let Gir make dinner?" Professor Membrane asked as he came into the room.

"Well, Gir knows everything that Zim and Zib are allergic to." Dib said.

"So do you." Zim said.

"True but Gir's quicker at cooking and can tell what's in something faster than I."

"Uh-hu, now what is for dinner?" Zib asked.

"WAFFLES!"

Everyone smiled forcefully but followed Gir into the dining room. They sat down as Gir gave each of them a big plate of waffles. Zib and Taz smiled as they began tossing their waffles to each other.

"Now, now, girls don't throw your food." Dib said.

The two looked apologetically at him and turned their attention to eating. Gir smiled happily, eating his waffles. Everyone ate to their hearts content of waffles.

"So, does anyone have anything to be thankful for?" Membrane asked.

The two girls looked at their plates and thought. Zim also looked thoughtful. Gir just smiled.

"How about family?" Zib asked.

Everyone looked at her and smiled. They all agreed that it was a good thing.

KK: Okay that was short.

KH: We'll write another one were Zib and Taz are born and also how everyone get together and such.

Yaki: See ya real soon.
