Afterwards

Disclaimer: I considered going on the writer's strike as well, before I realised I'm not getting paid either way for this. Hence, I own nothing. Such is life.

My take on each character after the events of DH. Original, I know…

A big thank you to ABitOfBlack for editing. I owe you a Coke. Or mini-Dutch pancakes.

Prologue:

Voldemort, You-Know-Who, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, Tom Riddle, the Dark Lord; no matter what you referred to him as, he had finally fallen once and for all. This thought, however, did little to ease the pain of those who had lost loved ones, of which there were many.

How is one truly meant to celebrate when those they have lost are not with them any longer? The fallen ones that they will always love, yet never set eyes on, never hold again…

The irony of planning a funeral during the most celebrated event in the wizarding world cruelly mocks these people; how do they cope with the gaping hole left inside of them as they experience this pain, this loss?

This is their story…

Short, I know. I've seen a few of these around fanfiction since DH, and felt the need to do my own take of one. I'll probably do Ginny to begin with, unless there are any objections.

Any suggestions and thoughts are more than welcome. Reviews would be most appreciated.
