When Ann was new to the ship, she used to sleep on the deck. But Whitebeard eventually saw the end of that. And that's how she ended up in Marco's room, on a mattress on the floor. Too bad she moved so much in her sleep, she managed to wake Marco. Not that Marco slept heavily in the first place. She was used sleeping with one eye and ear open, ever since she was a child. Usually, it came in quite handy whenever Thatch found a new prank or trick she wanted to try on the First Division Commander, but right now, it was extremely annoying. Just when she thought she'd get to sleep, Ann was there to bang against her bed or shout in her sleep. Honestly, that girl could wake the dead. Wonder what it said about Ann herself.

Sometime around half past midnight, Marco finally had enough. The blonde sat up in bed before shoving Ann lightly with her foot. 'Well, that didn't work', she noted as Ann kept right on sleeping. Eventually she decided that the best course of action would be to dump the glass of water on her nightstand over the sleeping girl. That woke her, spluttering and coughing.

"The hell was that for?" Ann exclaimed indignant. It was a rude wake-up if she ever had any.

"You wouldn't wake up, yoi. Now get up here." Marco responded, before scooting over and patting the bed beside her. Ann's eyes widened.

"Excuse me? I might tolerate being kidnapped, I even tolerate sleeping in your room, but in your bed? That's going a bit too far." She said, before turning around and laying down once again. Marco sighed. She was stubborn, alright. Luckily, so was Marco.

Ann opened an eye when she heard the other woman get up from bed. Suddenly, she felt a pair of hands around her stomach lifting her.

"H-hey! What do you think you're doing?" she shrieked, arms flailing. Ann could see the other woman carrying her to the bed and kicked out with her legs as well.

"Oi, stop that! You might hurt yourself, yoi." Marco said before finally setting Ann down on the bed. Ann glared at her sullenly but made no move to go back to the floor. Marco raised an eyebrow at the raven-haired girl's behavior until she scooted over close to the wall. Ann felt the blonde lie down beside her, but tried not to make a fuss.

Ann tensed when she felt an arm slide across her stomach.

"The hell are you doing now?" she asked.

"Otherwise you're just gonna keep moving around in your sleep, yoi. And that's not why I woke you." Marco answered. Ann blushed when she felt the blonde's bodyheat against her back. She barely knew this woman! Not to mention Ann wanted her captain dead, and she hadn't exactly been nice to the crew. Even so, it felt nice sleeping next to someone again. Maybe it wasn't so bad here, Ann thought to herself before closing her eyes.
