She couldn`t believe it. Her doctor was gone, but someone else just like him replaced him. Rose could feel the human doctor`s hand in hers. The human doctor? What should she really call him now? She let go of his hand, he looked a bit sad, but could he blame her? She crossed her arms and walked over to her mother. The human doctor followed.
They had no car this time, and they had to find a way to get back.
"let`s go in to town and find a hotel? Get some money and stay here for a few days?" Jackie asked the two of them.
"That sounds fantastic" the human doctor said and grinned, but lost it when he looked at Rose. "and you Rose?" Jackie asked her. Worrying about how Rose would cope with all of this. "Sounds fine" Rose mumbled loud enough for them to hear it.
They started walking. Rose walked a bit behind them, thinking. She had to speak with human doctor, about how he would settle in. He just came bouncing in to her life; she had no choice in it. She finally thought she could travel with the doctor again – her doctor. All this time she had been searching for a way to come back to him, and he had just left her. One thing her doctor couldn`t that the human doctor did, was to say the words. The words the human doctor whispered in her ear. The words she longed to hear from her doctor. I love you were the words the human doctor had whispered, and she had kissed him. Maybe she could give him a chance after all?
"I hope Tony doesn`t grow up slapping anyone" He said and laughed. "Oh, shush" Jackie said laughing too at the memory of slapping the doctor.
Rose could hear them talking, she caught up to them and took the human doctor`s hand. He stopped talking, looking a bit shocked, before he smiled at her and continued to talk.
