Edward came home to find Bella sobbing tearlessly in front of the computer.
"Bella!" he shouted, running over and pulling her into his arms.
"What's wrong? Bella, love, tell me; what's wrong?"
Bella lifted her head from his chest, "Do you remember that conversation we had the other day? About our favorite songs?"
Flashback
"Edward, what's your favorite song?" Bella asked out of now where. "What?" her mate asked caught off guard by the sudden question.
"What's your favorite song? What song do you listen to when you think of me? What song did you listen to when you thought of me when we were…separated?" she asked
"Bella what brought this on?" Edward asked her.
"Edward just answer the questions, please!"
"Um, I truthfully don't have a favorite song. Song when I think of you…hm…I know this is probably one of the most cliché songs ever and you know I don't like country but the only song I can think of is 'Bless the Broken Road' by Rascal Flatts."
Bella giggled, "And the song you listened to when we were…not together?" she asked biting her lip.
"'Bother' by Stone Sour," he answered quickly.
"And you?" Edward asked raising an eyebrow, "Same questions."
"Favorite song? Hm… Clair de Lune, I guess."
Edward raised his eyebrows.
Bella bit her lip again, "It was the first thing that we had in common. And I don't have a specific song that I listen to when I'm thinking of you because I can find you in almost every song. That's why when you were gone I couldn't listen to any music…except rap of course."
Edward chuckled at the thought.
"And I have a song I listened to when you were gone for the reason I just stated."
End Flashback
"You listened to 'Bother' didn't you?"
"Y-yes and I can't believe you actually felt that way," she 'cried.'
"Bella, baby, I don't feel that way anymore," Edward reassured her looking her in the eyes. "How could I? I've a beautiful little girl and I've got you, all of you."
Bella nodded and kissed him.
