So since I went on vacation, I had AoKuro on the mind the entire time. I have a set of drabbles I want to write for them set in different parts of Islands of Adventure, including various shops and rides! Just tiny, useless, mini fics really.

Location: Dr. Doom's Fear Fall
Rating: PG (language)
Pairing: AoKuro obviously.

"Tetsu."

"Yes?"

"Are you scared?"

"No."

"Tetsu."

"….Yes?"

"Don't you think these damn seat-belts are too loose?"

"No."

"Tetsu."

"Yes?"

"You sure you're not scared?"

"I'm sure."

"Tetsu."

"Please shut up, Daiki."

"But wh—-OH GOD. SHIT FUCK TETSU—OH F-"

"I thought you said you weren't scared of any of these rides?" Kuroko eyed Aomine warily. For someone who was oh-so-dim, he was sure damn pale right now.

"I wasn't scared! Just surprised, that's all." A lie as clear as day considering how many times his eyes darted to the Emergency Exit door while they waited in line. Hell, it took Tetsu ten minutes of convincing just to get him to ride this one in the first place. We'll ride it later, I'm hungry, the line is too long, I want to go on Spider-Man first — yeah, it had been a truck load of excuses before he finally caved.

"Oh? I wasn't aware shit and Oh God I'm going to die were just mere words of surprise."

"Yeah well I wasn't exactly expecting my balls to reach my throat."

In Aomine's defense, Kuroko hadn't quite been expecting that either. The ride shot them up with so much speed (and no warning), he was sure he felt his stomach greeting his eyeballs at some point.

However, …

"I— I see…," Kuroko's voice wavered briefly, but try as he might, he just couldn't contain the laughter that bubbled through at Aomine's choice of wording. The other boy certainly had a way with descriptions and his expressions didn't fall far behind. Aomine had been walking alongside Tetsu with his cheeks puffed out, and if Kuroko had to describe it, it reminded him of one of those silly looking predatory birds who'd just been provoked.

"Are you laughing at me you bastard?!" Aomine growled, his arm swinging around Kuroko's shoulders as he brought him in close to his chest, his other hand rubbing against the light blue hair roughly.

"I would never do such a thing," The sarcasm dripping as he laughed against the cloth of Aomine's shirt, slipping easily from beneath his pseudo-headlock. "Besides, I still haven't gone on my favorite ride today."

Aomine's eyes narrowed at his partner.

"If it's anything like the one we just rode then you can forget about it."

Kuroko's laughter subsided.

"It's even better."

"Tetsu I do—-," Aomine began, but his words fell void as Kuroko gripped at the hem of his shirt, using the leverage as he stood on tip-toes, his lips brushing against Daiki's ear.

It's you.

Kuroko smiled to himself as he released the grip he had on Aomine, turning on his heels quickly as he continued to walk ahead of his frozen in place partner. He didn't need to turn back to guess what kind of expression Aomine was making.
