This is another project that will take a looooong time to get to, but I wanted to start it, and I want to see what you think of it. This will be a very wierd, and very vast crossover. Anyway, here is the prologue, I hope you like it!

Prologue

For years I have searched, plundered the universe for its secrets. I only know one thing.

Everything dies. The eternal suns, powerful empires, even dreams will all meet a tragic end.

Morals even have an ending. Once a being finds out he possesses some great power, he, or she, will use it to their advantage, and to the detriment of others.

And when the others stand up to this force, and emerge victorious, they too will become corrupt by their victory. They will use this excuse to make others suffer. Then those suffering others follow the same cycle of death and destruction.

Who am I? I am the end. When conflict arises, I end it through the only way possible: annihilation. The dead cannot fight, the dead cannot suppress, the dead cannot quarrel.

Death is the only way to enjoy peace. Death is the ultimate peace. Death is me.

I have searched the universe for other answers. It all ends the same. I realize the importance of life, which is why I have given all annihilated by me their time to live. In the end, they become the monsters that corrupt and destroy. They become monsters like me. And it is my job to eliminate them, or they will plague the galaxy with darkness and destruction.

I understand why they fight me. No one likes it when their end has come. They hold fast to their existence, and they fight like madmen to preserve it. However, I have repeated this cycle for eternity, and when I have marked a race for destruction, I have set twilight upon them.

Who am I? Death, not destruction. Destruction causes suffering. I end suffering. And soon, once I eliminate all races, I will have helped the universe achieve ultimate peace.

I stand above a planet that I intend to eliminate. My previous conflict with an unlikely alliance has left me weakened, and it frustrated me that I could not follow through. But, no matter, this planet below possesses beings of extraordinary power, the power to bend the forces of nature to their will.

While they have not discovered how to navigate space, or navigate space's intricate network, subspace, once they do, they will be a force to contend with. They have shown signs of corruption, oppressing those that do not posses their gift. I must eliminate them before they grow.

I do not possess the power to destroy the planet as of now. But I will. In the meantime, I must recover my power on that planet, and eliminate potential threats that will oppose me. The most potent threat I have found out is rumored to be the spirit of this planet, and that being is my priority. My target is the one they call "Avatar".
