Hello gentle viewer (or reader, whatever) I shall be your host tonight, and
we shall explore the many hollow caverns of my brain. Here I have no real
story, just random thoughts that have somehow found themselves floating
about my head. If my pre-story ramblings make no sense to you, I would
advise reading my other story (it's the one written by
everyoneelsehasthebestpen ) and all shall become clear.
Title: I was thinking "really bad piece of s**t but I've been told that you can't have cussing in your title.
Disclaimer: I own nothing. Ziltch. Nada. And I've been thinking, why do we need disclaimers? Are tv producers really so money hungry that they would search the internet for someone they could sue? And yet I keep writing disclaimers, at least at the start of the first chapter, because after that the glowing reviews make my head swell and then I own everything. Everything.
Summary: I really don't know what the hell this is going to be about, so I'll leave that for later.
Have fun?
Luke stood, like a diver teetering on the edge of the board; this was the hardest thing he had ever had to do in his life. Every day he had had to face this, staring him in the face, sure many days he had been tempted just to let go and give in. But that was not how people had come to know him, he had resisted this for a long time, and many people had given up on him ever succumbing to temptation. But they had also noticed a change in demeanour lately, especially when around this forbidden, but so much longed for temptation. Popular belief was that there was something going on in secret. Over the years he had fiercely denied any secret passion, and had done this so much he had began to believe it himself, but there was still lingering doubt in his mind what it would be like, if just for a moment he tasted it.
Today though, he could feel something was going to happen, and when he went to open the diner it had been there, waiting as it always was. Sometimes Luke wondered if there was a chance that he was wrong, and his belief that only bad things could come out any sort of union between them was stupid and just an excuse for his cowardice. As the diner filled up his urge overwhelmed him, and slowly he let his defences fall. He walked around the counter, and Lorelai was sitting as she always had, eating and drinking. He saw her confused face as he approached her, with that determined look in his eye. He saw too as her face went from confused to absolute shock as slowly he brought it to his lips and... took a bite of her burger.
Ha! I had you all going. I know you have some questions. Why was this story written? Who the hell is this person? And of course Do they really have access to the internet in mental hospitals?
