In the engine room, Parfet and Duero were trying to fix a certain circuit that got cut. It was very quite except for their talking since everyone seemed to be on vacation…it was after Christmas and everyone was laid back or busy looking for more presents.
1.1 Parfet continued talking about how lucky they were that the snow machine worked. Duero on the other hand was his usual quiet self but he wasn't inside. Something was bugging him and he started to sweat. His heart was racing... he had to do it.

1.3 Duero quickly turned to Parfet. She was quite stunned. She looked at him and noticed he was sort of red. He gently reached for her cheek.

1.5 "P-Par-f-fet... ano... um" he was getting closer to her, "This is for medical purposes and the advancement of science. Sort of like an experiment on something I've read in one of those books Hibiki found in the old relic room. I wanted to test it out...um" (as if he could say it better)

1.7 "Nani? Are you okay Doctor?" Parfet said although she was not that okay herself. She felt a little embarrassed by how close their faces were but it didn't feel threatening. She felt her cheeks warming up (could he see this?) She was scared but still this strange eerie feeling just felt right.

1.9 Duero slowly let his lips touch hers. She hesitated at first but then let him do his 'experiment'. He lightly touched her quivering lips with his. It lasted for a few seconds then… he drew back quickly. They just stared wide-eyed at each other for…forever! The whole awesomeness of it all began to sink in on them. It felt good but kinda weird but that wouldn't last for long because Duero went back for more. The blush on Parfait's face was getting redder and redder. This time when he was about to withdraw Parfait quickly put her arms around him. He was forced to stay and frankly he liked it.

1.11 The kiss was magical. He really liked her. That felt really strange and wrong but he was more rational than most men were. This was different. Better than anything else!

1.13 After their kiss, the two were stunned. Kinda shocked about what they've done. "A-ah I better get back to work" Parfait stuttered. "Yes, me too" Duero murmured kinda disappointed that this was the end.

1.15 Duero was about to leave when Parfait grabbed his arm and gave him a quick kiss. "Thank you!" she said while blushing.. Duero just smiled. A smile that was so rare because it was genuine. Not put on for show. Parfait just giggled and slowly walked away staring at him occasionally.

1.17 "What was that?!" a voice said completely taking Duero by surprise (which isn't usual). It was Hibiki. "Well…um…why do you want to know? I wouldn't have to guess that you saw it." Duero replied. "It's nothing…of course not…why?" Hibiki said in his tough guy mode. "Nothing I just thought it was concerning a red-head." Duero said while smirking. "Nani! What does that mean, Duero?" the other man said although he was starting to blush rapidly and he looked as if he had been caught of guard. "Figures." Duero said and went off smirking.
