Once a heart is broken, sometimes it can never be healed

Obi-Wan was running down the hall, only slowing when a master scolded down at him or he ran into someone. He was late and it wasn't the first time he's been held up before supper. He was definitely going to get a beating when he got to his and Qui-Gon's apartment. The last time he was late he got thrown into a wall, and had to wake up two hours earlier than he already had to on his masters suicidal schedule. He was running as fast as his 16 year old legs could carry him. One of the masters held him over in class so he could congratulate him on his once again perfect katas'. He finally made it to the apartment door; 22 minutes late. That would mean no eating for the next two days and helping the crèche masters after dinner. He was about to open the door when it opened and there stood master Qui-Gon Jinn, who he hought was the best Jedi in the whole temple; sadly though the first time he hit him it was then that he realized that he had a broken master. Master Qui-Gon never hit him in public so he just moved out from in front of the door frame and allowed Obi-Wan in. Obi-Wan walked in obediently and stood in front of Qui-Gon waiting for him to close the door and let the bomb off. Qui-Gon closed the door and slowly turned around.

In a calm voice he said "Where were you?" Obi-Wan was about to explain when Qui-Gon didn't even give him time to open him mouth. He smacked Obi-Wan hard enough to knock him over. It was a burning sensation, he could already feel the bruise forming and he felt blood trickle down his jaw.
