Hey guys. This has been sitting by my bed ( i wrote it in pencil first. and in science class so you better like it! My teacher got pissed when I was writing this in the middle of the lecture. Blah.) And it's sad, but i like it.
Nessie POV
"Jake!" I screeched as he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. He started running towards the cold waters of La Push beach.
"So, Nessie," he started, setting me down in front of him.
I giggled. "Yessss?" I asked him, tracing his muscles.
"What should we do know? We could make sand castles, or look for shells or-"
"But i'm hungry." I complained.
"Then I guess, we'll need food."
"But we don't have any." I said.
He grabbed my hand and we started walking towards the Rabbit. "No. Your aunt thought you would get hungry so she packed us food."
"Rosalie or Alice."
"Rose."
"Ah. Rose is almost as protective and disturbed as dad."
"Disturbed?"
"Yeah, like mentally crazy . He hears voices you know."
Jake threw his head back and laughed.
"Speaking of my dad, does he know where I am?"
He shrugged. "Your old enough to make your own decisions on your own. I didn't think you needed your dad's permission to go on a date with me."
We stopped in front of the Rabbit and he popped the trunk, grabbed a picnic basket and a checkered blanket.
"Very cliche." I noted. "Can I get on different clothes? I'm getting cold."
"Yea, your clothes are in the back."
I opened the car door and grabbed my yellow halter and short shorts. " What if i'm still cold?"
"We have another blanket in case you do."
"Did Rose pack that too?"
"Maybe."
"Did she pack a tent too?" I joked and walked to the trees to change. When I came out I saw he had the picnic blanket set up with sandwiches, soda, and a lot of candles.
"This is a bit much, don't you think?" I asked as I walked over to him.
"Yes, but worth it." He walked over and kissed me softly. "I like your outfit."
I laughed. "It's not very warm."
"Well, you have me and a blanket. You'll be good."
Jacob pulled me down to the ground and I used my hand to tilt his face up to kiss him.
I moaned. "Mmm. You taste good."
He chuckled and pushed himself away.
"Aww, that's no fair!" I complained.
He was reaching for something behind him. When he turned around he had a container full of strawberries drenched in chocolate.
"My lady." he placed one of the strawberries in my open mouth.
"Oh my god." I said after swallowing.
"What?" Jake asked, smiling.
"That... was AMAZING!"
"Yeah? I'm glad you think so. Rose made Jasper and I make them."
"Why didn't she make them herself?"
He put his hands out in front of him as if I were going to paint his nails. "Her nails were wet."
He wiggled his fingers and talked in the griliest voice he could muster.
I giggled.
Jake and I spent the evening doing weird, yet romantic things and eventually fell asleep. Lying in each others arms.
Now, most of you are thinking that Jake and I will wake up in the morning and go back home. But if you thought that, you're wrong. Because the night we fell asleep the was a tsunami (sue- nah- me). There was no warning, no one knew. It just happened. No one thought anyone got hurt, and in truth, no one did. We died peacefully in each others arms.
We got washed out to the ocean and our bodies weren't found for a week.
When they found us, we were still each others arms.
In the end, our families cried together. We were gone, but our spirits weren't. My mom and dad held a ceremony a few weeks after. It was my wedding with Jacob. Symbolically.
Jake and I watched the ceremony with everyone giving speeches about how much they loved us and their favorite memories. It was all very sad, but together, like always, Jake and I went to a better place. Leaving our loved ones behind, but... we had each other.
And that's what mattered most.
