There have always been stories about monsters that lurk in the dead of night and prey on weak humans. To most these stories are just that, stories but to a select few humans these stories are true, much too true. In the deep underground of human society is a group of elite humans who protect the average person from these monsters. They are known as Vampire Hunters.
Though Hunters usually passed their skills and traits to their offspring, sometimes there are a few, the strongest of all Hunters, born from humans. It seems odd but it is true. The reason, according to legend, is that many thousands of years ago, when humans were terrorized by vampires, a couple prayed to God to give them the power to save the humans. God, their prayers having been heard, granted their wish and thus was born the first Vampire Hunters. Which is why every once in a while, a direct descendent is born from the First Hunters.
While they were still alive the First hunters trained others to follow in their foot steps to protect the humans. They taught these rules to all their pupils, who in turn taught it to theirs and so on until the Great War, where these teachings were lost forever.
Never kill a human
Remember, vampires were once humans
Never kill a vampire for no reason
Never torture vampires
Never stop true love
The last rule was the most important to the original Hunters. They truly believed in true love and to never interfere no matter what they thought of the couple. Eventually the heads of the hunters would ignore these rules and the wishes of the original Hunters and almost bring about the end of the world.
Hey fanfic... I'm back . I know it has been a very long time but i have been very busy and only now got a chance to write anything. For those of you who are reading, Flying on Angels Wings, I lost my notebook with all my ideas, so that story is on hold until I remember where i was going with the story. I am so sorry.
