Chapter 1 Hello La Push
Exotica (pov)
"Okay Dad remind me again why we are moving here" I asked as I tapped my feet against the dash board in our car. Dad turned to face me "We are moving here because we need a break from the city life." He answered turning his head back to the road.
"Exotica is just mad Cuz now she won't be able to drool over Gabe." Said my little brother in the back seat. I turned to face him and growled "Shut up defuse." I said leaning over and hitting him in the arm.
He stuck his tongue out at me "Oh it's nice to know you still act like a girl fag" I said shaking my head.
Dad pulled into this dirt pathway and pulled up to this nice two story house. I got to admit it looked pretty awesome. I unbuckled my seat belt and got out the car.
I went to the back of the car and popped the trunk open. I stood there staring at my bags at the bottom of the pile. I grabbed onto the handle of my bags and began to pull; the bag didn't even move an inch. I spotted my brother. "Hey Jordan can you help me with my bags" I asked kindly.
"Nah….I'm busy" he said putting his phone in the air.
Useless eleven year old brothers. I began to pull again and finally the bag came tumbling out. But of course I landed on the floor. I stood up and dragged the bags inside to my new room.
I placed my bags on my bed and began to unpack. I looked out my bed room window and saw the beach. Okay at least that's one good thing I've seen so far. I got dressed into my beach clothes. I grabbed my beach bag and filled it with a towel, sun screen, and my cellphone and iPod.
I slipped into my flip flop and went down stair. "Dad I'm going to the beach" I said as I open the door.
"Okay don't be to long Bud" he said from the couch. "Okay Dad" I walked out and closed the doors behind me.
I walked down the dirt path towards the beach. I placed my beach towel on the sand and lay down onto it. I looked around and saw a group of boys messing around. I watch one of them chase a boy down who was holding what I assumed to be a Barbie doll.
I got up and decided to walk around. I didn't notice the tree root sticking out from the ground so I ended up tripping over it.
"Hey are you okay" I heard someone ask. I looked up and saw the boys all surrounding me with a strange look on their faces.
"Yeah…I'm fine I was just having my clumsy moment there…..I'm Exotica" I said holding out my hand for the boy to shake. He shook my hand but never let go of it. I raised my brows at him and he let go "o I'm sorry…..I'm Seth…that's Paul, Embry, Jared…"he said a whole bunch of names I wouldn't be able to remember.
"Well it was nice meeting you" I said packing up my things to go home. As I began walking I looked back and all those boys were still staring at me with a confused look on their faces.
