Darkness
By Fallon Sanada
A/N: Poem from Cale.. ah, more misunderstood Warlords..
I sit in a room
surrounded by the dark
and to all appearances
I am not even alive.
I sit in the darkness
not afraid of the light
but the darkness invites me
when the light has had enough.
I sit surrounded by the dark
shadows gather 'round.
I shall tell them a tale
of a battle I had.
They take shapes of people
that I ought to know
inviting the story
that to them I bestow.
I sit amongst shadows
no light to be seen.
I see fine though
no problems
are presented in this scene.
I sit in the darkness
composed of the sorrow of this world
yet I do not feel
as though I am alone.
For the shadows protect me
in the darkness I lay
as the darkness I love
waits for me to go away.
