Disclaimer: I don't own Kingdom Hearts or its wonderful characters. I do, sadly, own an Algebra book, but that's not all that important.

Roxas didn't really like Algebra. It wasn't that he hated math or the teacher. He was even pretty good at the actual work. But really, what was the point of it? Not like he was going to need to know how to reduce a complex radical variation later in life.

And besides, 7:35 was far too early to be awake and at school. So sleep seemed the only useful purpose of the class.

On Monday morning, one could find Roxas asleep on his desk. He'd fallen asleep about four and a half minutes into class. Thank God he didn't snore. And that sleep talking thing only happened sometimes.

This same Monday morning would find Axel grinning at Roxas' sleeping form. And this grin would have made one feel very unsafe.

Axel knew Roxas slept through Algebra, but he was normally woken up by the ringing of the bell. Today, that was not the case. Which presented Axel with a very important decision. What to do with the sleeping boy?

There was choice A, simply waking him up. But that was way too boring for Axel.

Choice B was to let him sleep until someone noticed him. But that could take a while and Roxas was sure to get revenge somehow (the guy was way too protective of his grades). And Axel rather liked his face the way it looked now.

And then there was always choice C. Choice C was by far Axel's favorite so far.

He leaned in close to the blonde's ear, his smirk growing fractionally.

"Roxas," he said softly. "Roxas."

The blonde groaned and moved a bit, but remained asleep.

Axel started again. "Roxas, what are you doing?" This might not work, he thought fleetingly, then dismissed the thought.

"M'busy," he answered, subconsciously.

Axel smiled, and decided to continue messing with his friend. "Doing what?"

"Nonyerbsnis, Sora." Roxas frowned in his sleep.

Axel's eyebrows rose. "C'mon, you can tell me," he purred. "I'll keep it a secret."

Roxas groaned again, and blushed in his sleep. "M'busy thAxel…hnn….Axel's…."

"Axel's what?"

Roxas' unconscious blush deepened. "…..Axel's…" His hand gripped tighter on some dreamed object. "Axel's n'ass…"

Axel was not amused. He pulled away from his friend for moment, then came back. He glare at the sleeping blonde, then committed what could possibly be considered the stupidest act in his admittedly stupid life.

Axel bit Roxas. On the neck.

Roxas didn't wake up at first, but the color his face emitted probably hadn't been previously known to man.

When the blonde did wake up, he wasn't pleased. Well, he was, but that was entirely beside the point.

"Axel what the hell?!"

The redhead had backed up quickly. "You taste good," he said absently.

It took maybe ten milliseconds before Roxas tackled Axel to the ground. The wind was knocked out of Axel's lungs, and the weight of Roxas on his chest didn't ease its return.

"I'm going to kill you," he said venomously through clenched teeth. "And I'm going to enjoy it."

Axel didn't fail to notice the blush was still present on Roxas' face. "We've got to…go to…class," he pointed out through a few gasps for air.

"Shit!" Roxas remained seated on Axel's slowly refilling chest. "Don't ever do that again! You have no right to listen to my dreams!" He finally got off of Axel.

"Apparently I do," Axel said, laughing. "I'm in them."

Roxas glared as he grabbed his bag with more force than necessary. "Shut up."

"Well, all I'm saying i-"

Roxas cut him off. "No! You stay the hell out of my head!"

Axel was silent for a rare moment. They walked a few steps before he spoke.

"So you're ass is free, then?"

Axel never saw the fist coming, though he really should have.
