Hey!

I hope you guys really like my new story. I'm working on the next chapter already, so sorry that this one's so short.

Read/review and let me know how it's going so far! Thanks, and enjoy!

Chapter 1

Sometimes it's really hard to get over the little things. No matter how much you try and try to get something out of your head, it just sticks, right in the back. Maybe it will hide away for a while, but it always comes back. It's almost like a disease. Sometimes it hurts.

This is what Draco had. Let's just call it a disease. The harder he tried to make the nagging feeling go away, the more he would feel it. It would come back and back again until finally it was just permanently there. She was in his head to stay. He just hoped it wasn't for good. It was really difficult for Draco to even talk about his problems. His family was definitely out of the question, and his friends, well, they wouldn't believe him if he tried.

It was almost time to be at King's Cross, and Draco was just doing some last minute packing. He was leaving to go back to school, which was both a positive and negative thing for Draco. On one hand, being home meant he wouldn't have to see her, which made her easier to forget, although he could never forget her. But there would be no sticky moments when he walked into her in the hallways. On the other hand, going to school also meant that he had other things to occupy his mind; he would be busy with school work, and Quidditch.

Draco's parents sternly called him, telling him to bring his luggage upstairs. They were running late. Draco had been working all morning trying to make himself look his finest. He wanted to make a good impression on his first day of his 6th year at Hogwarts. He wanted to look handsome for her. He knew that there was still so much tension between them from previous years, and he wanted to fix it, he just didn't know where to start. He had never tried to fix anything like this before, and he knew it would take some work. He needed a game plan; he just didn't have one yet.

When Draco had said goodbye to his parents, and gotten on the train, he immediately walked to his favorite compartment, searching for his two best friends, Crabbe and Goyle. Draco slid the compartment door open, but there were no best friends waiting for him, because inside the compartment was none other than Hermione Granger.
