One of the lesser-known aspects of being a hero is undercover work. In short, it's simply a person taking up a fake identity to gain the trust of an individual or organization to gather information or evidence. To be fair not a lot of heroes could pull this off. Only lesser known heroes that have mastered the art of stealth and deception could go undercover without ever being detected.

"HA! Nice one Eraser!", A green haired woman laughed as her date glared at her across the small circular table they were seated at. The other diners looked at the loud couple but gave them no mind, after all, it was just two adults having fun together.

"Joke...we're supposed to be," The unkempt dark haired man looked side to side as he rose his menu up as a makeshift wall. "Undercover." He hissed at the woman in front of him.

"Of course we are!", The jolly woman blurted as she flashed her date a large grin. "We're just two young emotional adults in a romantic restaurant.",

"...," The man's bloodshot eyes stared into woman's own dark green ones. "Sure...that's the cover story.",

"Yep, it's just a cover. Nothing else.", She said with a small laugh as she rested her elbows on the table and leaned on her palm. Her eyes darted past her less than stylish companion.

"You see anything you want to order?" The man asked as he glanced through the menu, flicking through the pages at a leisurely pace.

"How much can we afford?" She asked as she turned her attention away from the small group of well dressed stereotypical Italian men.

"Depends on if you want to walk home after this," He replied with a serious expression. "I would prefer something cheap and quick."

"Oh, do you have any plans for tonight?" She asked with a teasing grin.

"A simple dinner, maybe a film and a small...'walk' through the park.", He said with a deadpan expression. His date laughed.

"Have it your way Shota.", She said with a roll of her eyes.

"It's just business as usual Emi, nothing more...", Shota grumbled as a waiter approached them.

"May I take your orders?" He asked the odd couple.

"Yes, we'll take whatever the table over there is having.", Emi motioned towards the small group she was observing a while ago.

"Oh, are you sure? Mister Valore tends to have very expensive taste." The waiter gave the two a questioning look as Emi glanced at her dark-haired companion.

"Don't worry, my partner and I here can handle it." She said with a wink.

"What she said," Shota muttered as the waiter wrote down their rather expensive order before walking away. Now he had to listen to his 'date' tell bad jokes and practice one-liners for the next hour or two. Oh, and bring down a crime boss. While in a penguin suit and with very few of his gadgets. He groaned as he massaged his temple.

'This is going to be a long night...' Eraserhead thought to himself as Ms. Joke mentioned something about pasta and dogs.

"I should've brought my sleeping bag with me." Eraserhead scowled as Ms. Joke gave a toothy grin.

"Aw, is little Eraserhead getting tuckered out?" She teased.

"That's my secret Emi," Eraserhead leaned forward dramatically and stared her dead in the eye. "I'm always tuckered out.",

"Getting a little close there Eraser," Ms. Joke laughed nervously before leaning in just as close. "I could swear you want to get a little more...intimate.",

For a few moments, the two just stared at each other while leaned across the table. The other patrons and even the waiters didn't dare to disturb this strange staring contest. Suddenly Emi closed the distance between them, stealing a kiss on Shota's left cheek before moving away.

Shota's reaction to this was to blankly stare directly at the laughing woman in front of him. He felt like an awkward teenager. 'This woman...', He thought to himself as a smirk spread across his face.
