"Shut … Please shut," Amy Dumas commanded her suitcase as she pushed down the lid and reached for the zipper. "Mickie?" she called out to her sister. When she received no reply she called out again a little louder this time.

"Yeah?" Mickie called back.

"Is there any room in your case? I can't close mine."

There was a short pause before Mickie appeared in the doorway, "About that? There is a teeny tiny problem."

Amy turned around to face her, "How teeny?"

The brunette pulled a face, "Would you hate me if I told you I can't go?"

The raven haired woman placed her hands on her hips, "As far as teeny tiny problems go, that's not one. It's not even remotely close. Why can't you go?"

"I'm late so I just took a test and I'm … I'm pregnant."

"Oh my god! Does Chris know?"

"Yeah, I just called him from the bathroom," Mickie replied.

"Is he excited?"

"He's over the moon. At first I thought it was going to be pissed because he went all quiet on me but he's really happy."

Amy opened her arms, "Come here and let me congratulate you."

Mickie walked fully into the room and hugged her sister, "I'm so sorry I can't come with you but I don't want to risk anything."

"I understand."

"You're still going right? Maybe we can get somebody to go instead of me."

"You're kidding right? We have to leave in an hour, there is no way I'm going to get someone at such short notice … Maybe I should just stay here with you."

"You'll do no such thing. You've been looking forward to this vacation for ages and after the last couple of months, you deserve it."

Amy raised an eyebrow, "Are you trying to get rid of me, Micks?"

"Of course not but I don't want you to miss out because of me," Mickie admitted.

Amy smiled, "I know but do I really want to hang around the resort on my own?"

"Sorry," Mickie whined.

"Don't be sorry, I'm so happy for you. You're going to be a great mom."

"You really think so?"

"I know so … Duh! And I think I'm going to go by myself."

Mickie laughed, "Well if you're sure."

Amy smiled, "I'm sure. Now can you give me a hand to close this thing? Maybe you could sit on it?"

"Cheeky, I'm not even showing yet."

"No, I'm being serious, this suckers just not closing."

"Jeeze, Ames, what have you got in there? The kitchen sink?"

Amy rolled her eyes, "Just a few essentials."

"If you say so. But I do have a little something to ease the pain."

"And what's that?"

"Skiing lessons with one of the best instructors in Vail. His name is Christopher Daniels. He's really good or so Chris says so. He bought me the lessons as an early Christmas present. You should use them. Who knows, maybe he'll be gorgeous."

Amy shook her head but said nothing. Mickie loved nothing more than playing match maker. Something Amy was very used to by now.

Despite the fact that Amy was only joking, Mickie did in fact end up sitting on the case whilst Amy struggled to close the zip. An hour or so later Amy found herself travelling alone in a taxi cab on the way to LAX airport wondering just what she'd let herself in for. The next two weeks were going to be interesting to say the least.
