Sorry, sorry, it wasn't intentional. &+ DON'T COPY MY STORY! So read and I hope you like …
:D
Disclaimer: I don't own anything or anyone except the story and Reisha Ling and Jake Black!
Ohh and Tereda isn't a teacher. + can anyone tell me Rika, Naoko and Tereda's last names please?
Summary: She was always good at hiding. Hiding objects, people, herself and her emotions. Hiding her emotions to the extent that even she couldn't realize them. She preferred it this way, because this way she never needed to tell people everything and more importantly, trust them. He was always a bit ahead of everyone, running from his emotions. Busy with his work, his training, his duties, he hardly ever had time to think, let alone do simple things such as smiling, laughing, having fun and enjoying life. When these two crash, and are forced to trust each other when faced against a mutual enemy, will they manage? Or will they go down before that? Read to find out...
Chapter 1
Syaoran P.O.V
It was a pretty normal party. My cousin, Eriol, was the one who dragged me there; and I do mean dragged literally. His exact words were, "You need to chillax, you worry too much. You've been training non-stop for 2 whole weeks! Seriously, I'd think you were a robot if I didn't know any better!"
So, here I was. Apparently, it was Eriol's girlfriend's cousin's party. I don't even know them. Heck, I don't even know if 'them' is a girl or a boy!
Anyway, I was just wandering around the hall. This party was basically a disco, which leads me to believe that maybe the birthday, err, child likes to dance? Whatever. It's not like I care.
My feet soon led me to the corner of the room where there were a couple of tables, on which there was a variety of food. Junk food, mostly. But my stomach confirmed that it was hungry, by growling a little. Since it didn't growl noisily, and since the music was loud, I didn't think anyone would hear, so I wasn't worried.
Someone giggling lead me to believe otherwise.
I turned around to catch the culprit, and found myself staring at eyes the most beautiful shade of green I have ever seen. Okay, wait. DID I JUST THINK THAT! No, no, I don't think they're beautiful, it isn't in my vocabulary! I just thought that because… because, well, green's my favourite colour! Yeah, that's it!
A little annoyed that the word beautiful had crossed my mind, "What do you want?" left my lips, maybe a bit harsher than normal. I ignored the look of hurt that fleetingly crossed her face, and instead grabbed a plate and any random thing on the table I was near that looked remotely edible. Well, you can't blame me; I hadn't eaten since this morning.
A softly mumbled, "I just wanted to know if you're enjoying my party." stopped me. I turned around and said, "So you're the birthday girl?" Very smart, Syaoran. Her response, "No, I'm her evil twin sister." made me smile and I don't remember the last time I did that. "Kinomoto Sakura", she continued, extending her hand.
I shook it, ignoring the way my hand turned hot as I touched hers. "Li Syaoran", I said, and waited for the outburst. What happened was not what I was expecting. When I usually said that name at parties, there usually was a lot of squealing, screaming, asking for autographs, calling people etc. But this girl just smiled at me, and her answer was that she was honored to have THE Li Syaoran at her party.
I smiled back at her, again. Twice in one day, what is happening to me! After that, we had a short conversation, but I didn't really take any of it in because I was busy studying her, taking in her soft skin, her auburn hair, her emerald eyes, and those lips. Those pink, smooth, perfect lips. No, No, NO!!! Bad thoughts Syaoran, bad bad bad bad bad!
But there is one thing I have to admit. She's different. I like her already.
Sakura P.O.V.
I'm 18 today! Yay!!
The party is so awesome! All my friends are here, and so are a lot of people that I don't even know! My cousin/best friend, Tomoyo, organized it, so I know that everyone must be having a pretty good time. Nearly everyone's dancing, including me! Im in a circle with my best friends; there's Tomoyo and her boyfriend Eriol, Chiharu and her boyfriend Takashi, Naoko (who's still single), Rika and her boyfriend Tereda and lastly Reisha and Jake, who obviously like each other but won't admit it!
After a while I get a bit tired, so I head off to the food corner. When I get there, a growling sound coming from some guy's stomach makes me giggle. As he turns around, I'm a bit too caught up in his bright amber eyes to notice his angry face.
I finally drag myself away, just before he said very sharply, "What do you want?" I have to admit I'm a bit hurt, because it is my party, you know. When I ask him if he's having a good time, he seems a bit shocked. He probably didn't know it was my party. His next question was a bit stupid, but I controlled my temptation to roll my eyes though my reply was still not very polite. Surprisingly, he smiled. I liked it.
After introducing ourselves, in which I controlled myself nicely when he told me his name (Go Sakura!!), we chatted a bit, but I don't think he was listening. I often saw him staring at me, as if trying to figure me out…and I was a bit uncomfortable. I hid this though; I'm very good at hiding. I have to be. But, never mind that; let's not think about that stuff, it's my birthday after all!
We soon bid each other good byes, and I walk back to where we were dancing, though a bit reluctantly. Err…okay … that was a very random thought. I did not walk away reluctantly, I walked away very normally.
Though there are two things I can admit. Firstly, I wish I could run my hair through that chocolate brown and messy hair of his.
Secondly, He's different. I like him already.

Sakura had been gone a while, so I decided to go after her. Seeing her chattering to a guy, who was staring at her made me excited. Sakura never, ever trusted anyone enough to talk to them this long, when she just met them for the first time.
There was a feeling nagging me at the back of my mind, like an annoying scratch you can't reach. I had a feeling it was something about the guy…what was it? And then it hit me, that hair, those eyes, he was THE LI SYAORAN!
Subconsciously, I noticed the evil smile that spread across my face. Maybe he would help Sakura break years of the wall she had made, so strong that now even she couldn't break them. This acquaintance could get interesting. Very interesting. This was my thought as I made my way back to where the others were, a plan already hatching in my head, for them 'accidentally' meeting somewhere.
As I reached the circle, I told the other guys what I saw and my plan. Identical smirks spread across their faces, as we improved our plan to get Sakura back, like she was before.

I wonder if the people in the particular circle noticed the guy near them, listening to every word they were saying, and at the same time making his own plans.
He soon left. He had work to do.
So guys … you like?? Review, and tell me ways to improve! Thanks!
