The dinner was quiet. Too quiet. They didn't talk. Gilbert got up from the table and left. In that moment Madaline had a breakdown.

"YOU HAVE REALLY BEEN AN ASSHOLE THESE PAST WEEKS!" she yelled.

"Maddie,liebe..." Gilbert said.

"You were like stone! A tree was more emotional than you! Don't 'liebe' me! You haven't said a word to me! Not even a 'hello'." Madaline said with tears in her eyes.

Gilbert was stressed from His job. He didn't even think about how His wife was. He truly was selfish.

" When we got married you were warm! You wanted to start a family right away. Now even your part of your bed is cold! If our relationship continious like this i m as good dead!"She says closing the door behind her.

"Wait! Madaline!" Now he thought it was too late. He lost the love of His life because he was selfish. Even if he went after her how could she forgive him after neglecting her. ' i m as good dead '... did he really made her feel like she was better dead? He was a idiot. He ran out the door but no sign of Maddie. He Messed up.

He started searching for her and found her. She was on a bench staring at the lake.

"Remember?" She broke the silence."we went here on our first date and threw rocks in the lake. You hitted a duck and it bit you"

Gilbert sat Next to her and hugged her.

"I was a asshole as well yelling at you..." maddie said quiet.

"What? No no no no. You had all the rights to yell. I was being ignorant." He said trying to comfort her.

"I just Felt invisible this past month..."

"I'm sorry"

"Now it's okay" Maddie said then kissing Him.

"You should have told me sooner that you were upset about this"

"... i should have told you another thing sooner..."

"What is it,Maddie?"

"Dear... i'm pregnant..."

Gilbert took a few seconds to proces this information then pulled His wife in a bigger hug.

"That is awesome!" He said excited. They wanted a Child for so long and Now they can have it.

"I thought you will be mad about not telling you sooner..."

"You are kidding? I Could never be Mad at you." He was right. He never believed in the 'Until death does us apart' bullshit. He said it at the wedding that he would love her in the afterlife as well.

"That is bullshit!" Gilbert said to the priest. "I will love her in the afterlife as well!"

Madaline Williams,Now Beilschmidt was laughing like the rest of the people that were at the wedding.

'How much could she love him?' She said in her mind without realising she said it out Loud as well.

" Not as much i love you!" He said happilly.

"Yes?" She said.

"Remember when i said that i would love you in the afterlife too"

"Yeah"

"I think that would come sooner than i thought"

"And why is that?"

"Your mother will kill me when we Tell her"

Maddie couldn't help but laugh. How much more could she love him?

"Why mom and not papa?"

" 'cause your father is a good friend of mine . And i still remember the death stares your mother gives me and they still give me Nightmares... i swear that she is a demon!"

"Gilbert!" She said trying to scold him.

"I am glad that we are okay now. Let's go home" he said getting up.
