A/N: Finally, my first ever Yandere Simulator fanfiction... (wipes fake tear away) This fanfiction will make everyone who's in the Yandere Simulator fandom and everyone who's waiting for an AU where Ayano is only emotionless, not a yandere, and possibly with Taro/Senpai being the yandere, plus the rivals being genderbent happy...
I'm just being dramatic, as I am sometimes LOL Anyway, this is the prologue, so it it's not really long yet. But don't worry, my stories so far usually get longer as it goes on!
And without further A/N, let the show begin!
Taro's POV
As far as I can remember, I've been normal as can be. Not stupid, but not smart either. Not fast, but not slow either. All of my favorite things are average too, like my favorite food, ramen. You get the point. Everything about me was...average.
And I've strangely been fine with it...until this year. I finally came to my senses and decided that I'm going to have a memorable senior year and try to not be so average.
I was running out of ideas. What should I do? Study harder and get grades above average? Nah, that's way too nerdy. Join a club and find my secret talent? Probably, but I don't really know what I'm really good at! Or maybe... I was pondering these thoughts when I bumped into a girl.
Little did I know that she was the answer to my problem, and that I would be in love with her. Not all of the sudden when I met her, though.
Normal POV
"I don't know, Oka. I mean-" A certain girl with black-hair tied up into a high ponytail and grey-eyes said to Oka, a girl around her age with messy midnight-blue hair and light purple eyes with large black rings around them who was walking next to her, before she bumped into Taro.
"Ouch!" Both the black-haired girl and Taro fell down.
Taro was the first one to get up, so he offered his hand to the grey-eyed girl. "Hey, are you alright? I'm sorry for bumping into you. I was busy thinking about something, and I didn't notice where I was going."
The black-haired girl stared at Taro for a while before taking his hand, and a trace of emotion came into her face. Something tells Taro that the girl rarely shows feelings...
"No, it's fine! I'm sorry too. I was talking to my friend and didn't notice where I was walking either!" The girl said to Taro.
"I should introduce myself. I'm Taro Yamada, and I'm in my final year," Taro introduced himself once he realized that he'd never met this girl before.
"My name is Ayano Aishi, and I'm a year below you," Ayano smiled. She then noticed Oka standing awkwardly next to her. "And this is my friend Oka! She's the same year as me, and she's the vice president of the Occult Club. She's currently filling in the position of the president, who's also her twin brother."
"H-hi," Oka said in a soft voice.
"Oh, I should get going! It was nice talking to you. I hope I see you again," Ayano told Taro before walking away with Oka.
Taro was still trying to wrap his head around the situation when he went into his classroom and approached his friend Budo Masuta.
"Hey, Masuta. Do you know anything about Ayano Aishi?" He quietly asked to the Martial Arts Club president.
"Sure! She's sort of popular around Akademi High, so I know some things about her," Budo explained. "She hasn't joined any clubs yet. I once offered her to join my club, but she wasn't interested. Her friends, ones that I know of, are Kuu Dere, Midori Gurin, Kokona Haruka, and Oka Ruto. And also, if you are interested, there are rumors of her."
Taro shrugged. He wanted to know more about Ayano anyway.
"The rumors about her is that she came from a line of emotionless girls that only show feelings when they love someone," Budo muttered, just loud enough for Taro to hear. "However, they do NOT kill to get someone. They get their guys the fair way."
"I see. Thanks, Masuta. Do you know who else knows-" Taro was about to ask another question, but the teacher of Class 3-2, Sensei Kaho Kanon cut in.
"I'm sorry to interrupt your converstation, Yamada, Masuta, but class is about to begin. Please take your seat, Yamada," Sensei Kanon said strictly.
"Yes, Sensei Kanon," Taro walked to his desk in the third row, fifth column next to the window.
As Sensei Kanon (the can-I-speak-to-your-manager teacher) started the lesson, Taro found himself switching between concentrating on the lesson and thinking about Ayano Aishi.
So she came from a line of emotionless girls that only show feelings when they love someone, huh? Taro thought. No, concentrate on the lesson, Taro! You do not want to get a score lower than it already have! But it's strange though, how Aishi seems to show emotions when I bumped into her...
As soon as it's lunch and he'd finished his bento, Taro decided to go and get more information about Ayano Aishi. He went and talked to Midori Gurin (GURINUUU!) on the roof (she was sending an email to someone named Yandere Dev. Taro decided to not ask questions, as lunchtimes don't go on forever), who Ayano apparently became friends with and known since elementary school. In fact, Gurin was Ayano's first friend. According to Gurin, despite being emotionless, Ayano had a strong sense of empathy, and don't mind having a few friends and sometimes hanging out with them.
Next, he went to the Occult Club to meet Oka, but unfortunately, the Occult Club vice president was somewhere else (and apparently rarely in the clubroom during lunchtime, according to the other Occult Club members). Taro was kind of glad when he got out of the clubroom. The Occult Club gave him chills down his spine, (despite him not being easily scared) especially the skull decor with a knife in it.
He was about to talk to Kokona Haruka, Kuu Dere and probably someone else who knows things about Ayano when the bell rang. Taro decided to ask them tomorrow or probably when school ends.
When school finally ends, Taro's class immediately went empty like a bowl of ramen in Taro's hands. The black-haired boy quickly packed his things and left as quickly as possible. He didn't really know about Kokona Haruka or Kuu Dere's schedules, but he don't want to risk it.
However, his plans were forced to change when he found a note in his locker.
Meet me at the school rooftop at 5:00 p.m. Don't ask any questions.
Just meet me there. I guarantee you that I will be able to help you.
The note was unsigned. Taro thought about it. If he decided to meet this unknown dude (or girl), he could risk the chances of getting more information about Ayano today...wait, it's not like today is the last day of school. He can always ask tomorrow, and besides, meeting this person is only for today.
Once he got to the school rooftop, it was 5:00; the right timing. He walked around the rooftop, until he finally found someone looking at the mountains at the very end of the rooftop. Noticing Taro's footsteps, he turned, revealing a tall (but around Taro's height), red-haired guy with unusual red eyes covered by red-rimmed glasses. Something tells Taro that this guy was not some your average Akademi High student, despite him wearing the same uniform as him and all the other male students in the school.
"Hey," The redhead greeted.
"Do I know you?" Taro asked carefully.
"I saw you asking questions about Ayano Aishi today," The red-glasses wearing guy said instead of answering Taro's question. "Seems a bit suspicious for an average upperclassman who usually kept to himself, don't you think?"
"Do you have a problem with that?" Taro surprised himself by saying that. He was usually the quiet and meek type, the one who rarely spoke up against someone unless if he really disagrees with that topic.
"No, not at all. I wanted to give you some information about the boy who's one of her friends."
"Which boy? I only know four of Aishi's friends: Oka Ruto, Midori Gurin, Kuu Dere, and Kokona Haruka," Taro listed. So Aishi has one more friend, and Budo doesn't know about him. Or maybe he was going to tell me if I finished that question, but the sensei's about to begin, so...
"She has one more friend: Osano Najimi, who is her oldest, childhood friend. And they also go way back, even before Ayano Aishi met Midori Gurin," the mysterious boy explained. "And by the way, Najimi has a crush on Aishi. He also believes in the myth about the cherry tree behind the school."
"The myth that if you confess your love to someone underneath that tree on a Friday, they are guaranteed to accept your confession? (The mystery guy nodded) No offense, but why do you think I'm interested in that?" Taro asked, raising one eyebrow.
"He's planning to confess to her next Friday," The red-haired guy continued, ignoring Taro's last question.
"Why are you telling me this?" Taro countered.
"I would be happy if something bad happens to Osano-kun." The nickname 'Osano-kun was said in a sarcastic and spiteful way.
"Who are you?" Taro asked, deciding to just play along until he can find a loophole to use to go away.
"I'm the person nicknamed 'Info-kun' around here," Info-kun replied.
"I've heard rumors about you. You blackmail various people and sell panty shots to boys. And for your information, I haven't, and never will, buy one. And nobody knows your real name," Taro said.
"The rumors are true," Info-kun once again faced another direction, so Taro couldn't see what Info-kun's expression was. "If you ever need a favor, text me a oanty shot and I'll give you whatever support I can. If you want to know personal information about anyone at our school, just send me a photograph of their face, and I'll tell you everything I know about them."
"You're disgusting. Just so you know, I don't need any favors from you," Taro backed away slowly.
"Oh, you might say that at first, but just know that if you decide to change your mind, do those things that I said. And an apology text would be good too," Info-kun turned to Taro again. "And FYI, you're free to go."
Taro walked away as calmly as he can and didn't look back.
Info-kun chuckled. "The narrator didn't say 'never', though."
Once he got to Akademi High, true to Info-kun's words, instead of Oka Ruto like yesterday, or her other friends, Taro saw Ayano walking to school, accompanied by an orange-haired boy, who he assumed to be Osano Najimi.
"You want to copy my homework again? Jeez, you're pointless!" Osano complained after Ayano said something to him.
"Um...I forgot to do it yesterday 'cause of something. And ehehe...(Ayano sounds really awkward when she said that, but Taro found it cute, for some reason) i didn't bring lunch for today. Y'know, 'cause my mom went to America with my father to take a vacation," Ayano explained, and looked at Osano pleadingly.
"Ugh, don't look at me like that!...Just shut up and eat your bento!" Osano gave a bento box to his childhood friend, noticeably blushing.
"But Osano, it's not lunchtime yet..." The rest of the converstation wasn't heard by Taro as he growled, literally crushed the pole that was near him, and pulled out his Saikou brand phone to contact Info-kun.
And that was the moment when Taro starts to have a crush on Ayano Aishi and would do anything for her to like him back.
Little did he know, he was going to have a memorable senior year, alright, just not the way he imagined.
And he was going to do horrible things, (or beautiful things, depending on which way you look at it) worse than the last (or better than the last) from then on...
A/N: Taro and Ayano's romance might seem like the next Twilight, but I'll make their relationship better as this fanfic goes on.
And I didn't replace Oka with her genderbent counterpart, Oko (I made them identical twins instead), 'cause Oka's my favorite rival! And plus, after watching the Yanderetale video Yandere Dev made, I can't find the heart to 'replace' Oka lol
I have another fanfiction, but it's being revised, so this fanfiction's update might be faster than what I expected. But I don't really have a schedule, and there's school, but I think I can do it on next week :)
If you made it this far, favorite, follow, and review (constructive criticism is fully accepted). Kudos to anyone who gets the reference.
Thanks for reading! C'ya!
