A/N: Set at the beginning of seventh year. Sorry about the length. Or... shortness, since it's so short it shouldn't even qualify as a length.
"Evans! You me, Hogsmeade, tomorrow. Capiche?"
"No, Potter."
"C'mon Evans, just one date."
"No."
"Please?"
"No."
"Lily!"
"What, Black?"
"Would you please just effing say yes before he drives us all insane?"
"No."
"Lily, he really is quite distracting. I'm trying to do my homework, you know."
"Remus, I really don't see how this is any of your concern."
"Lily, he's been in love with you since the moment he first set eyes on you. Just give him a break for once!"
"Moony! You promised you wouldn't tell!"
"No, I promised that I wouldn't tell her about your Lily Diary."
"Well, you just did. And it's not a diary! It's obviously a journal, because I am a man. Diaries are for girls and house-elves."
"It's a diary."
"Padfoot!"
"What?"
"Stop telling her it's a diary! It's a journal!"
"No it's n-"
"So, Potter, what's in this diary?"
"Well, um, well, you see, Lily..."
"Call me Evans. Not Lily."
"Wait a minute. So Sirius and Remus are allowed to call you Lily, but I'm not?"
"Yep."
"Why?"
"Because you're an arrogant toerag."
"But Sirius is too!"
"Whatever. You're not allowed to call me Lily because I say so."
"Aw, Lily..."
"Evans!"
"Fine! Evans!"
"Good job, Potter. Glad that finally got through your thick skull."
"Why, thank you. Hey! Where are you going? Come back!"
"...and there he goes again."
"Yeah. Hey Moony, don't you feel just a bit sorry for him?"
"Personally, I feel sorry for me. He's going to be ranting about how she told him 'good job' for weeks."
"Hey! Just because it's almost the full moon doesn't mean you need to snap at me!"
"Sorry. I just feel so-"
"Whoa there! We don't need to talk about feelings! Prongs does that enough."
"Fine. Although studies show that a good dose of personal conversation every now and then-"
"Ah! Don't tell me! Nerd talk! Ah!"
"...and there he goes."
"Wha- Oh. Hi, Lily."
"Hey Remus."
"Where's James?"
"I lost him around the library. Why?"
"You really should give him a chance. It's been six years, and he's still head-over-heels for you."
"Well, he sure doesn't act like it."
"What do you mean? Of course he does!"
"Every time I reject him, he doesn't even care. That means if I accept, that won't mean anything to him either."
"Lily, every time you reject him, he gets upset. He just doesn't let you see. Sometimes, after he does something really special and you still don't say yes, he won't open up to us for days."
"Really?"
"Really. James is much more sensitive than you think he is."
"Wow. I really had no idea."
"He didn't want you to know. He wants you to think he's tough."
"Oh. Well, bye, Remus."
"Wait! Where are you going?"
"To go find James! I'm gonna ask him to Hogsmeade!"
"Finally!"
