A Sign of True Love

Two words. Gilthunder never thought that two little words could have such a profound effect on his life.
"I'm pregnant," Margaret whispers in his ear as she cards her soft hands through his pink hair.
Gilthunder nearly collapses then and there as his knees buckle. With a movement quicker than Meliodas' Full Counter, Gilthunder scoops his wife into his muscular arms. The Holy Knight spins Margaret in a circle before kissing the Princess until they are both breathless.
"Truly?" Gil asks, resting their foreheads together as a laugh escapes his lips.
"Would I lie to you?" Margaret inquires with a teasing smirk.
"My love, I never meant to imply- This is all I have ever wished for!" he assures, moving to press his lips to Margaret's forehead. "The doctor- have you seen a doctor?"
"I have, Gil. He says the baby should come in spring, most likely in May," the eldest Princess smiles widely as excitement flows from her voice.
"Then I shall have this war won by April," the pink-haired Holy Knight solemnly vows to his beautiful bride.
"Gil…."
"Margaret…"
"I love you," they say together as Gilthunder splay his hand on his wife's soon to be rounded stomach.
Author's Note: It's been forever since I've written about Margaret and Gilthunder, so I knew I needed to write a drabble around them for the challenge I took part in! They are just such a sweet pairing that I knew I needed to make them married and have a child on the way! (I will eventually incorporate this into the plotline of my other story You'll Be Mine; I'll Be Yours if I ever get around to updating that in the future.) Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed!
