The man looked at the person asleep in the hospital bed with bruises on his body.
Sebastian didn't think he'd see this again, so soon.
His best friend in a hospital bed.
Well, last time, he wasn't his best friend.
Also, this time it wasn't because of a car accident.
Last time he wasn't in a coma.

Dave looked so small and frail to the young man.
Sebastian wasn't used to seeing him this way.
He was usually larger than life and happy.
…
He felt tears come to his eyes.
The Warbler never wanted it to end this way.
Not with things left unsaid.
Dave had changed him for the better.
He could admit it now.
Sebastian really cared for the footballer.
He might even feel more for him than that.
Dave just needed to wake up so he could tell him that.
