Chapter 1: We're Back Baby! - Part 1

The camera focuses on an iron gate, the fence encasing a clearly abandoned film lot. Golden letters tower above, yet what they spell out is unknown due to several having fallen off and being long abandoned. Trash litters the black concrete. The only life evident in the shot is the cockroach crawling across the road. Somewhere beyond those towering walls a devious host awaits, sitting in his golf cart anticipating the arrival of this season's fourteen contestants.

"Where the fuck are they?!" Chris shouts out in frustration. He's been sitting in the scorching heat for almost an hour waiting for the cast. The host plans on making an endearing entrance but isn't sure how much longer he can wait for them to show up without going even more insane than he already is.

Chef leans against the golf cart, glaring at his only friend. "I told you the bus wasn't going to make it. Who in their right mind would think it's a good idea to rent a bus for ten bucks?" He lets out a grunt. "Those kids are goners."

"How am I supposed to refuse such a great offer? I can now add the bus fund to my massage budget. It takes work to look this good." Chris retorts.

"You're not going to get any of those massages if the cast ends up dead."

Fear engulfs his face. Chris couldn't care less about the contestants. However, the host has become well educated in his contract after the multiple lawsuits the show faced after last season. In short, dead contestants means jail, and Chris is pretty sure jail doesn't have hair gel and a makeup artist. "Where are those kids!?"

"Oh my god! I so can't believe we get to come back for another season. I'm so excited!" Lindsay gushes. Her nose presses against the filth infested window as her eyes take in everything they pass. However, their destination is far away from society, so all she really has to look at is an empty field. The lovable blonde doesn't seem to care too much, though.

Gwen turns around in her seat and rolls her eyes at the girl from between the crack. "Right. Because Chris's insane challenges are something to look forward to." She leans back in her seat and stares moodily into her own window. "I'm just shaking with excitement."

"At least we get to go through this together." A warm hand grasps onto hers with a comforting grip. Trent smiles at his girlfriend in adoration. The two began genuinely dating after the show. Despite them living in different provinces, they made their best effort to visit whenever possible. Their dates mostly consisted of a romantic candlelight dinner through Skype. However, Trent sold his beloved autographed guitar to get the cash to fly over and visit her one weekend a month. Their relationship has been difficult, but fans who've gotten a glimpse of them together believe their love is still going strong.

Lindsay seems unaware of the goth's sarcasm. "I really hope we're on the same team this season, Greta! It sucked that we were against each other last year."

"We were on the same team last season, Lindsay."

Her eyebrows furrow in confusion. "I totally don't remember that. How come I had to be so mean to you then?" Gwen rolls her eyes before glaring daggers at the bald head a few seats ahead of her. The blonde appears deep in thought before jumping up in excitement. "Maybe Tyler will be on our team!" After last season, Lindsay and Tyler were unable to reunite. This is partially due to the distance between them, as well as Lindsay having forgotten her own phone number and given her jock boyfriend the wrong one. The blonde, despite her trouble remembering the simplest of things, hasn't yet forgotten her former flame. Unfortunately, she is having trouble remembering what he looks like.

She stands up from her seat and walks into the aisle. "Tyler? Tyler? Where are you?" She stops in front of a seat near the back. "Are you Tyler?" She asks the boy.

"I can be whoever you want me to be." Cody grins at the blonde, wiggling his eyebrows seductively. He's quite excited for the journey ahead, especially after being voted off so early last season. Cody has his eyes set on his newest prey. Although not completely over her, he's ready to move on from Gwen. As upsetting as it is, he's come to the realization that there's no chance of them being together. Also, although Lindsay is nice on the eyes, he's decided that she's just not the match for him. This season, he's ready to win the heart of this new girl. No reason for him to stop his shameless flirting, though. Right?

Leshawna pulls the blonde into the seat beside her, glaring at the nerd. "Boy, that's disgusting. Don't you dare try to take advantage of the poor girl." Her eyes stare him down menacingly, causing him to squirm in his seat.

"That was awesome." The redheaded nerd says from across the aisle. Harold gawks at the girl he worships, fantasizing about a life where they can be together. Leshawna, however, has rejected his every attempt. The redhead knows there's little hope for the relationship, but it never hurts to dream.

She flashes a smile and flips her ponytail off her shoulder. "No way I'll sit around and let that twerp mess with my girl. Nuh uh. Boys like him drive me crazy."

"You know what drives me crazy?" Noah drones from beside Harold. His monotone voice startles the blonde, who was completely unaware that he was even there. The short bookworm removes his eyes from the novel he previously was engrossed in; probably for the first time over the three-hour long trip. Ever since Total Drama Island, he's come to resent the show. He just can't comprehend why he was voted off so early. Sure, he could've tried harder in that dodge ball challenge, but there had to be better options to vote off. After all, he had Heather on his team. Noah's been resenting the day he'll return to the show. If it were up to him, he'd be at home. However, it isn't.

"The hormone infested Barbie and Ken have been eating each other's faces since we got on the bus." The bookworm nods towards Geoff and Bridgette at the front of the bus, who are locked in a steamy make out session. "The sound of their spit is driving me insane."

"I think Britney and Greg are adorable!" Lindsay gushes.

Noah rolls his eyes with a bored sigh. "Of course you do."

"WAHHHHHHH!"

Heather presses her hands against her ears. "Can you shut the fuck up already?" The Queen B snarls. Some people thought over the break between seasons Heather would change. After having her hair shaved and being kicked off right before the finale, you'd think she'd look back at her choices and try to change herself for the better. However, that's not the case. Heather is as mean as ever, if not worse. She doesn't believe in karma.

"I miss Sadie!" The twin blubbers, her face covered in snot and tears. For some reason, Chris thought it'd be a good idea to bring one of the Wonder Twins back for Total Drama Action regardless of how much the fanbase despises them. The contestants sitting near the sobbing Katie have come to wonder if bringing only the one was meant to torture them.

The Queen B points a finger at the girl threateningly. "If I have to hear another second of your crying, I swear to God I'll throw you out of this bus."

"You wouldn't do that." Katie gulps in fear, her tears momentarily coming to a halt.

"Try me."

The lone twin slides down in her seat, mellowing her cries to a quiet whimper. Not quite what Heather wanted, but no one is ready to complain if it means the pounding in their heads can calm down a bit.

"I thought she'd never stop." The delinquent lets out a sigh of relief. "One more minute of that and I'd be jumping out of the window. No way the million is worth that torture." He turns to face his cowboy hat wearing friend but stops when he realizes Geoff is still attached to his girlfriend. The two are currently taking up the front of the bus, making it impossible to pass them due to their bodies being halfway in the aisle.

"There's no stopping them." DJ says from beside the delinquent. "I tried getting past them to ask the driver to stop so I could take a leak, but it's like they're in their own world."

Duncan stands up, holding the seat in front of him for support so he doesn't fall from the bus's constant jolting. "No way am I going to sit through the rest of the ride listening to that." He stops for a second so the smacking of their lips can be heard. "I'm putting a stop to this."

He slides past DJ and stands in the aisle. The delinquent moves slowly, focusing on keeping himself upright. For a second, he looks like he's about to fall, but is steadied by Justin who quickly reaches out to catch him. "Thanks man." Duncan mutters under his breath, moving back towards the hormonal couple before the model can reply.

Duncan leans down and tears the teenagers apart, the loud smack from them separating being heard by even Cody at the very back. Geoff and Bridgette, both with a fair share of slobber on their chins, look up at the delinquent.

"What's up man?" Geoff asks, sitting up straight. Bridgette follows behind him, wiping her face with her sleeve with a red blush coating her face.

"Dude, you guys have been going at it for the past three hours." Duncan states with a smirk. "I'm all for a hot make out session, but the sound of you guys eating each other's faces is driving everyone crazy."

Geoff flashes a lazy grin and drapes his arm over the surfer's shoulders. "You're just jealous that Jessica isn't here. You'd be all over her in a heartbeat."

"We broke up." Duncan says to his friend with a straight face. After the competition at the end of Total Drama Island where they competed for the million-dollar briefcase, Duncan broke up with Courtney for ditching him when he injured himself. The delinquent, never allowing his heart to overrule his pride, decided the best way to prove he was over the CIT was to find a new girl. He began dating a girl named Jessica, someone who was just as punk and rebellious as him. He never heard any complaining and arguing from her. However, dating a clone of himself wasn't as great as he thought it'd be. Right before getting on the bus he sent a text breaking up with her.

Geoff looks at him in disbelief. "No way, bro. You guys were all over each other."

"Yeah, every time you went out the paparazzi got dozens of shots of you guys together. I haven't seen you guys apart until now." The surfer speaks up.

DJ grins. "You guys were worse than Geoff and Bridgette. How did you not pass out from a lack of oxygen?"

"I get it, okay? We're done and not getting back together any time soon. Get off my back." Duncan growls through silted eyes. He despises when people make fun of him.

Geoff raises his hands up in surrender. "It's cool man. We were just poking fun."

"How about you start 'poking fun' at someone else?"

Bridgette looks at him with concern. "Do you mind me asking why you guys broke up?"

"Malibu, why would I go around telling you my personal shit? I don't even like you." Duncan snaps. He felt guilty when he saw the hurt on her face but pushed his thoughts of regret away. There's no way he'd apologize, she was being way too nosy.

Bridgette looks at Geoff questioningly before looking back at the delinquent with a glare. "You've been such a jerk since you and Courtney broke up. She may have been annoying but at least she put you in place."

"You really should get back together with Courtney. She's hot bro." Geoff stops speaking when his girlfriend smacks him in the side. "I mean, not as hot as my Bridgey-Bear, but she's a nice looking chick. Give her a second chance."

Duncan appears deep in thought before shaking his head. "No way. She's way too uptight. It was fun bothering her last season, but I don't think I can handle an actual relationship with her. Anyways, she's not even in this season."

"Bummer, dude." Geoff says.

The bus comes to a sudden halt, the tires letting out a loud screech of agony. The contestants are thrown from their seats, groans of pain thundering through the air. Smoke is billowing from the bus's engine. The bus driver, who has seemed shady throughout the entire ride, lets out a cackle as the doors open with a groan, one falling to the ground with a bang. Despite their new injuries, the cast is in a rush to get off the bus and away from the potential psychopath.

"Out of my way, freaks!" Heather yells, shoving DJ who had fallen on top of her. She struggles to her feet, kicking Duncan's head as he begins to get up. The Queen B is about to step down when a hand grabs onto her wrist.

Leshawna pulls the girl back, stepping on Katie's arm in the process. "Wait your turn, drama queen. There's no need to walk all over everybody. Would it kill you to be nice for one minute?"

"It's Heather, she'd probably break out in hives if she tried." Gwen sneers from behind her friend. She'd ditched her boyfriend at the back of the bus where he's still trying to release his leg from a pile of suitcases that collapsed on him.

The Queen B rolls her eyes, viciously pulling her arm from Leshawna's grasp. "Fuck off. It's called survival of the fittest. For all we know, that driver over there might go off on some murderous rampage." She nods to the man, who's staring at them behind his sunglasses with a wicked grin. "I for one want to live."

"Girl, you've been talking to my boy Harold way too much." Leshawna retorts as she shakes her head in disgust. She watches with Gwen as Heather jumps off the bus, her hips swaying as she walks a safe distance away. "That girl creases me."

Gwen lets out a snort. "She's the worst. How did she even make it to the final three last season?"

"I honestly don't know. I mean, she was a good competitor and helped our team, but we had no reason the keep her after the merge." Leshawna shrugs.

"GWEEEN!" Trent calls out, laying down in defeat as Harold and Cody try to pull the suitcases off him. Unfortunately, their scrawny arms are unable to lift Lindsay's bags, which are likely packed to the top with a year's supply of makeup and clothes. No one can comprehend why she'd possibly need five suitcases for a contest that she may not even last a week in.

The goth carefully steps over the limbs littering the aisle until she reaches her boyfriend. Her and Leshawna brush the boys aside as they struggle together to free him. Once the last bag is lifted from the trembling teenager, Gwen rushes to his side. "Trent, is your leg okay?"

"I think so. I'm pretty sure I have a concussion though. Some of the bags hit my head on their way down." Gwen brushes the hair away from his forehead soothingly, causing him to grin. "I feel a lot better now that you're here, though." He props himself up on his elbows so his face is right in front of hers. Gwen's face glows bright red in response. Trent leans forward, closing his eyes. However, when he opens them, the goth isn't in front of him, instead retreating from the bus along with the others.

"What did I do wrong?" Trent asks himself as he sits up, the back of his shirt likely coated with dust and filth. He begins to sulk, but quickly comes to a stop when he notices he's alone and the bus driver is slowly approaching him. With a newfound speed and lack of care for his injuries, he shoves past the man and rushes out of the bus that's slowly falling apart on the concrete beneath him. Just as he jumps down, the single door slams closed and the vehicle races away, a dust cloud left behind to suffocate the teens.

"Chris paid for us each to have our own private boat last season, but this year he gets a crappy old bus. It's like he doesn't even care anymore. Gosh." Harold says. Everyone nods in agreement.

Duncan rubs his head in pain, mentally cursing Heather and her high-heeled wedges. "Where even is that prick? Isn't he supposed to be here before us? Talk about a shitty host."

"Boy, what the hell happened to your head?" Leshawna asks, pushing his hand away. Several gasps were heard as they took in the cut on his temple.

Bridgette looks at him in concern, hesitantly using her sleeve to wipe away some blood to get a better look. "You need to get that checked out. I mean, it doesn't look too serious, but I'm not exactly a nurse."

"Calm down, I'm fine. I've had worse." He brushes the surfer off and puts his hand back to his head. "The head just bleeds a shit ton."

Knowing that there was no point talking to him, the contestants give up on the topic and ignore the punk. They are strewn along the concrete, all bored out of their minds. After that three-hour long bus ride, they'd hoped Chris would give them something to do. Sure, his challenges were dangerous and malicious, but they were desperate to escape each other for a brief moment.

Noah, Cody, and Justin sit on their suitcases playing a game of cards, no one really trying now that they're about twenty games in. Lindsay searches the group in confusion, vainly trying to pick Tyler from the crowd. By her side is Katie, having grown tired of repeatedly reminding her that Tyler wasn't cast in this season. The rest of the contestants appear to be completely happy waiting quietly for the host to arrive.

A half hour later, Trent still leans against the iron gate, absentmindedly strumming his guitar as he watches Gwen and Leshawna sit together in silence. Ever since he almost kissed her on the bus, Gwen's been avoiding him like the plague. He's replayed the moment over and over and has yet to understand his mistake. It's not like they've never kissed before. Maybe it wasn't a regular occurrence due to their limited visits, but he wasn't being too forward. He thought the moment was sweet.

A golf cart pulls up in front of them, Chris honking the horn to announce his arrival. His glowing smile seems less effective when being overlaid by the many groans and complaints.

"What took you so long? We've been waiting for almost an hour." Gwen crosses her arms in annoyance.

Chris glares at her. "I haven't introduced myself yet, so SHUSH!" He presses his index finger against her lips but moves it away after seeing the murderous glint in her eyes. He smiles at the camera. "I'm your host, Chris McLean, bringing you the highly anticipated second season of your favourite show Total Drama! This season on Total Drama Action, there'll be—"

"Weren't you supposed to do that intro before you got here? My legs have fallen asleep from waiting for so long. There's no way I'm sitting through that." Leshawna interrupts.

Heather steps forward with a frown. "As much as I hate siding with her; really, I do, Leshawna is right."

"'Leshawna is right'? Did I mishear you or—"

Heather wrinkles her nose in disgust. "Oh, shut up. Chris, can we get this over with? I'd rather win the million before the year is over."

"Alright, just get in." Chris whines. "You guys never let me have fun."

The golf cart drives through the film lot, going past many diverse sets. Although many of them seem interesting, Chris feels no need to talk about them.

"Woah." Harold's eyes widen in wonder. "Is that the set from Galaxy Wars?" He points at one of the backdrops. The space inspired set causes the nerds in the group to gawk in delight.

"No, it's from a cheap rip off version." Chris states. "None of these sets are from big name productions. We don't have the budget for that."

Trent nudges Gwen. "How much of the show's budget do you bet he's using for himself?"

"With how things are looking, I'm surprised any of the money is actually being used for the show." She replies with a chuckle. Her boyfriend feels relief in seeing that her coldness towards him is gone.

Chris turns his head around to glare at the talking teens. "I'm giving a tour, so no talking!" He faces forward once more, his signature smile back on his face.

"Somehow, he's managed to become even more unlikable than he was last season." Noah whispers to Cody in annoyance.

"You'll be spending the next six weeks here, competing against each other in challenges and for rewards. All for the chance to win the monster cash!" Chris exclaims, in his head imagining a crowd of people erupting in applause for his excellent hosting. In reality, everyone is rolling their eyes at his narcissism.

Leshawna smirks. "You can all leave now, 'cause I've come here to win."

"For the last time, SHUSH!" Chris glares at the cast. "Like last season, one team will win, and the other team will watch one of their own make their way down the dreaded Walk of Shame to the Lame-o-sine."

As he drives past the Lame-o-sine he rolls up the windows to his section of the vehicle, leaving the campers to choke on the clouds of exhaust. Coughs erupt from the campers as they try to rid the fumes from their lungs.

"Typical Chris." Heather growls, a coughing fit shaking through her body. "Where did he even get that? There's no way it's legal to drive that thing."

Chris ignores her comment, choosing to continue with what he's been saying. He's come to the realization that there's no shutting the teens up. "Now, since you don't have the outhouse to dump your deepest, darkest secrets in, you'll dish the dirt in our new makeup confessional!"

Confessional: Lindsay

She looks around the confessional with wide eyes. "A whole trailer full of makeup?!" A shrill screech emits from her small frame, the irritating noise topping the worst heard from Katie and Sadie.

Confessional: Noah

"I already hate it here." He drones with a straight face.

"To your left is the craft services tent, catered by Chef." Chris gestures towards the white tent but is soon interrupted by Chef running out like a madman waving a frying pan in the air as he chases after a raccoon.

"If you survive Chef, you'll have to make it through the awards ceremony!" They drive past a gilded stage, a statue of Chris presiding on either side.

"All but one loser will receive a gilded Chris award!" Chris enthuses, his eyes wide with wonder. "Damn, don't I look good in gold?"

The delinquent lets out a snort. "His ego can't get any bigger."

"I know, what a narcissist." The goth replies with a chuckle.

Justin flashes one of his signature smiles to the host. "I think it's great that someone is so confident in their self worth. If you've got it, flaunt it. Hey, Chris?" Katie clings to his side, nodding vigorously as she stares at him lustfully.

"Now," Chris announces, the golf cart coming to a stop before two trailers. "This season you'll be sleeping with the enemy. Girls will be in the trailer on the left, boys on the right. You'll be getting nice and cozy, since these trailers are less than half the size of the cabins from last year."

Geoff looks at his surfer girlfriend with a pout. "They'll be co-ed one year, babe."

"In front of everyone? Seriously, Geoff?" She smacks his chest, turning her back to him. Bridgette is embarrassed with what her boyfriend is implying. Sure, she'd love to sleep in the same room as her boyfriend, but she has no interest in sleeping with him. She believes in saving herself for marriage, so naturally she's furious that on national TV Geoff is giving off the wrong impression about their relationship.

"Seriously," Chris says, "this is supposed to be a family friendly show. I'd be bombarded with lawsuits if I left you horny teenagers around each other unattended."

"Bummer." Duncan snorts.

Chris, ready to put the current topic to an end, continues his monologue. "Once again, there'll be two teams, competing in dangerous challenges to win immunity from elimination. Unpack your bags and get settled, because we'll be starting our first challenge in ten." He points to his watch as the cast climb down from the vehicle. Once the last person steps off, he drives away in a hurry.

"He forgot to tell us where the challenge will be. Idiot." Harold points out.

Gwen shrugs, slinging her bag over her shoulder. "Guess he'll have to come to us then. I'm not going to hunt him down." Everyone nods in agreement, vacating to their appointed trailers.

Somehow, in a span of two minutes, the girl's trailer has erupted into chaos. Lindsay and Katie are hiding in one of the top bunks, clinging to each other in fear as they scream at the top of their lungs. Bridgette stands in the doorway, calling out for help, sending the occasion glance towards the commotion with wide eyes. In the middle of the room is Heather, Leshawna, and Gwen. Leshawna lays with her back on the dirty floor, desperately kicking and swinging her arms and legs. On top of her is Heather, who's viciously clawing at her face. Despite how tiny she is compared to her victim, the rush of adrenaline has allowed her to overpower Leshawna. Gwen is pulling on the Queen B in a vain attempt to get her off her friend.

"I'm going to scratch your fucking eyes out, you bitch!" Heather roars, her eyes silted in fury. She blocks out the yells calling out for her to stop, focusing on maiming Leshawna's face. The Queen B ignores the drops of blood on her hands.

Leshawna continues to squirm. "Get off of me! You're insane!" The girl spits out blood, the spray hitting her attacker's nose.

Gwen's face turns a sicklier pale than usual. "Bridgette, go get the boys! Hurry!" The surfer nods grimly, racing out of the door. Gwen pounds her fists on her rival's back.

"She's going to kill Lefonda!" Lindsay bawls into Katie's shoulder. The Wonder Twin hides her eyes behind her hands.

"What the hell is going on in here?" Duncan shouts questioningly as the boys run into the trailer behind Bridgette. Him, DJ, and Geoff push past the surfer to Leshawna's aide. They, along with Gwen, grab onto the Queen B and pull her away. DJ and Duncan restrain her by the wall farthest from Leshawna. Gwen and Bridgette rush to their friend's side to check if she's alright.

Leshawna sits up, rubbing the forming bruise on her eye. "Thanks guys."

"Are you okay?" The surfer asks, checking out the bleeding scratches that coat her skin.

"Yeah," Leshawna mutters. "Don't worry about me. It's not that bad. The attack just caught me by surprise."

Gwen turns her head to glare at the seething teen behind her. "How come we haven't even started the first challenge yet and Heather's already hurt two people?" She gestures at the cut on Duncan' head that was no longer bleeding and Leshawna's current state.

"Did I miss the cat fight? Did any of them start making out?" Cody interrupts, earning a smack in the back of the head from Trent. Noah exits the trailer in annoyance, followed by Geoff and Trent, Cody being dragged behind. Once Heather appears to have calmed down and is no longer a danger, DJ and Duncan also leave. Heather goes outside to escape the tension in the air.

"Gosh. Heather's such a bully." Harold spits out, finally moving away from the door. He sits down beside the woman he loves.

Leshawna leans her head on his shoulder in a daze. "If you mean bitch, then yes, you're correct."

"What happened?" Harold asks hesitantly.

The girls share a look. "I don't even remember." She answers as the others nod. "Heather doesn't need a reason to be a jerk, though."

The host peeks into the trailer, cackling as he takes in Leshawna's face. "I didn't even need to do anything and there's already drama. I knew there was a reason I called you guys back for another season. Pure television gold."

"What do you want Chris?" Justin, who has been silently standing near the window, asks impatiently.

He raises an eyebrow. "First challenge. Hello? It's been over ten minutes. Get your asses in gear and head down to the craft services tent." The host hops out of the trailer and heads off.

"What about Leshawna?" Bridgette questions the others. "Should she go see Chef for her injuries?"

Leshawna stands up shakily. "Relax, girl. I'm fine. I can make it through one of Chris's stupid challenges." To prove her point, she walks out, adding an exaggerated sway to her steps. Harold, Gwen, and Bridgette share a look of concern before heading out as well.

Justin walks over to the two girls who remain in the bunk bed. "Do you ladies need any help?" He offers a hand.

Lindsay smiles and takes his hand. She allows him to help her to the ground, despite being fully capable of doing so herself. "Are you Tyler?"

"Sorry, but I'm Justin." The model responds as patiently as possible. Patience can be difficult when dealing with Lindsay. She scratches her head in confusion, but soon gives up and shrugs. She happily skips outside, going in the opposite direction of the big white tent.

Katie stares at the model dreamily. "You're nice and beautiful!" A bright smile spreads across her face before she frowns. "I wish Sadie was here, she'd be so happy getting to talk to you. And see your abs. And you're smile. Oh! And also—"

He presses a finger to her lips. "I get it. You miss her, huh?"

"Yeah." She looks down at her lap. "It was horrible being separated last season after I was voted off, but it's even harder having to compete without her. Why did Chris choose me over her? She's so much smarter and prettier than me. I wish I could just be home with her." Tears run down her cheeks as she begins to sob. The moment would be sweet if her crying wasn't so deafeningly annoying.

"Shh." Justin brushes the back of his hand across her cheek. "Chris chose you because you're a strong competitor. The two of us, we never got a chance to shine. This is our chance to prove that we're not just some throw away contestants and that we're worth the million." He takes her hand, slowly helping her down. "If we work together, we'll be unstoppable." Justin remains a hold on her hand, caressing it gently. "Sadie will be proud of you, I promise."

Katie blushes. She's been obsessed with Justin since first setting her eyes on him. However, she's never believed that she could truly have a chance with him. Everyone loves him as much as people hate her. The only person she's ever been close to is Sadie. Hearing these kind words from Justin fills her with hope.

"Are you asking me to be in an alliance with you?" She asks with a bright smile.

Justin leads her towards the door. "Yes, I am. Is that alright with you?"

"Like, of course it is." She lets out one of her signature screeches of excitement. Justin winces, but chooses to say nothing. They head to the craft services tent hand in hand.

Confessional: Katie

She lets out a scream of happiness. "OMG! Justin asked me to be in an alliance with him. Did you see how he held my hand? He's so dreamy!" Katie presses her hands to her face in shock. "Do you think he likes me? We'd totally be a perfect couple." Another eardrum popping cry thunders through the air.

Confessional: Justin

"That girl is just as stupid as she is annoying." He wipes his hands on his green shirt in disgust. "It pained me to hold her hand for so long. How can someone's palms be so fucking sweaty?" Justin turns his head to the side off-camera, graciously accepting the hand sanitizer an intern offers him. "This better be worth it. I've learnt from last season that allies are key to staying in the game." The model grins deviously. "Having someone to do your dirty work is also quite helpful. Katie should be quite the asset. When I'm done with her, it'll be easy to vote her off. No one likes her, anyways. People can only stand that girl for so long until they lose it. Hopefully I'll at least have enough time to drain all usefulness from her."

He looks somewhere beside the camera, fixing his already perfect hair. "Don't underestimate me. This year I'm making it all the way to the top."

After what felt like a never-ending case of writer's block, I've decided to start this story from scratch. Hopefully this will be easier to write, since I actually have the main plot planned out this time.

Feel free to leave a review and tell me what you think about this first chapter. BTW, Justin will probably resemble Alejandro a lot. From his few appearances in TDI I don't think it'd be right to write him as a blatant jerk like Heather. I feel like there's a lot of strategy and intelligence behind his silence.
