The evening air was beginning to settle over Destiny Islands. As Kairi sat on the dock near the shore, with a clear view of the island, she wondered if she would ever see him again. The boy who she could only faintly remember, but knew in her heart that he was real. Though she could not picture his face or think of his name, she remembered treasuring the days they played together on that island that seemed to end too soon. Where did he go? How long had he been away?
